We enjoyed the central location and amazing waterfront view. We spent a lot of time out on the deck and made a point not to miss a gorgeous sunset. It also was fun watching the surfers. Parking is easy, and we had all that we needed in the kitchen to cook meals --there's even a rice cooker. The good washer/dryer were also a big perk. We also took advantage of the grocery bags, beach towels, chairs, wagon, and cooler. The only reason we're giving this nice condo 4 stars is that the streetside bedroom with the 2 twin beds got a little noisy at night (loud cars and motorcycles) and the bedroom door doesn't fully close (it hits the corner of a bed).

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for a week stay. We were so thankful to sit on the lanai and watch the surfers all day long. The location was prime! Easy access to stores and far enough from downtown. Easy walk to magic beach for coffee, drinks, and snorkeling. We cooked full meals and tool or pan!We are already looking at dates to book again! Don’t miss this one!

Property was exactly as advertised. Directly on the waterfront, with outstanding views of the water, surfers, whales, and gorgeous sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked with needed equipment and the opportunity to use the outdoor grills was very good. They were well maintained and cleaned daily. Inside the property, the master suite was beautiful with direct views (and sounds) of the water. The guest bedroom was fine. All things considered, we had an excellent stay. The property is well situated on the island for all the activities important to us. If we decide to return to the Big Island, we would certainly consider renting this property once again.

Stayed at several condos at this same building over the years and 202 is the best so far. 2d floor east end with a constant ocean breeze, morning surfers, and evening sunsets. Kitchen had everything needed including dishwasher. New washer/dryer we used a few times. Overall great stay.

We had the absolute best week at Kathy's condo. It was everything we hoped for and it was perfect for our toddler as well. We loved watching the sunrises, surfers all day, and sunsets from the lanai. We can't recommend this condo enough! It was extremely clean, well stocked, welcoming, spacious enough for 4 adults, with the most perfect location to explore the island. BUT OMG, the sound of the waves at night putting you to sleep was the most soothing, relaxing experience of the trip, especially after a long day of exploring the island. Coffee on the lanai at sunrise watching all the surfers was my favorite start of the day. The host and the property manager are extremely responsive and take care of the property - small issue with plumbing that was resolved and non-issue, but quick response was extremely positive. Beach items (noodles, boogie boards, chairs and towels) are well stocked for a day out at the beach. I would definitely stay here again. and again. And AGAIN. Do not pass this up if it's available.
I must have taken 300 photos of surfers, so much local talent on this beach.
So many surfers in the early morning, amazing talent.
Perfect little protected, nature spot to enjoy the sunset, avoiding the waves.

We stayed at this amazing place for our 25th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. It is really the perfect spot. So quiet, we never heard any noise from anyone next door on either side of us. The unit is close to the end of the building near a little side beach so you have complete ocean views from the deck and access to the beach. It was extremely clean and neat and well stocked with everything we needed, especially beach items cooler, boogie boards, towel etc. We ended up eating and snacking so much on the deck instead of going in town to a restaurant because the views couldn't be beat and it was so peaceful. We contacted the mgr. about a view things and she handled everything immediately, quick, responsive and so on top of it, so impressed. It's close enough to shops/restaurants without being in the overly congested area and parking below in the garage was easy to unload with a full car. It really was a delightful stay, we can't recommend this place more we loved it. Thanks for making our 25th so special!

What a view!!

Stay was amazing! Condo has everything you need is you choose to dine in every night. Only thing that was a struggle was the need for the community grills to be updated. If you enjoy watching all the locals surf then this is for sure the place to be as Banyans beach was pumping.

Great Location, Amazing Views, Includes everything needed for comfortable stay

We had a wonderful relaxing time. Owner and property manager were very responsive. Property has amazing sunset views and listening to the waves at night was so peaceful. Would highly recommend. Property was perfect for our family of four without using pullout. It was very convenient to have the beach chairs, umbrella, and towels available. Fully stalled kitchen and plenty of fans if needed to stay cool. The breeze coming off the ocean with the sliders to the lanai open kept it very comfortable. Would highly recommend and stay at property again if return to the big island.

Perfect location!

We absolutely loved being able to hear and see the ocean all the time! There is a spotlight shining on the waves at night that adds the perfect amount of light to see the waves, but doesn’t shine into the windows while you’re trying to sleep. The area was perfect for what we were wanting from our vacation and the property manager was extremely responsive. There was construction going on next door while we were there, but we were told it was an emergency situation and it wasn’t within the control of our property manager. We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved the location of the condo. It was clean and kitchen has everything you need. The main bedroom is large and well lit, the ocean is right outside and the lanai is perfect to watch the surfers!The other bedroom is on the street and am told by our friends that slept there it is a little loud with traffic noise. Other than that, I highly recommend the stay. the booking and check in was simple and the price is comparable to other properties in the same location. Aloha!

Top notch location and amenities

We had an outstanding 7 day stay at Kathy and Bruce's condo. The description of ocean front is on point! The oceans' roar was amazing. We loved the lanai, and the ocean front master bedroom ocean front was perfect. We never turned on the TV as the ocean and the surrounding area was entertainment enough! Althought we only used the kitchen to prepare breakfast and cocktails, we noted that it contained everything that was needed to prepare dinners. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again the next time I visit Kona... Thank you!

Great Property!

Beautiful view, absolutely clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again. Condo is on the second floor, with plenty of parking spaces occupying the first floor. Living area and master bedroom open to a big west facing lanai and crashing ocean waves. There is a small sandy beach for lounging with a sandy wading area for smaller kids, but mostly lava rock beach. Ceiling fans in living room, bedrooms and lanai. New washer and dryer. Well stocked kitchen, with all the tools and cookware necessary to actually cook. Even a crockpot and things like soy sauce and vinegars from previous guests. Amenities you always wonder about, like laundry detergent, dish soap, beach towels, were included. Lots of things like aluminum foil and paper plates were available. Suggest taking a look at what's there before purchasing anything. Property manager was excellent, both respectfully attentive and unobtrusive. She communicated an unanticipated and no-fault maintenance glitch that affected time of checkin and resolved it promptly.

Wonderful Condo by the Ocean

The condo was just as advertised in the listing. Very clean, well stocked, extremely comfy beds and pillows, a view to die for, and great location close to everything! No bugs, couldn't hear the neighbors, and great lanai. Only slight issue was the 2nd bedroom is close to the main street and kind of noisy, but we brought a sound machine so it wasn't aproblem. No AC but the ocean breeze makes it comfy.

Beautiful Condo

Beautifully decorated condo in a beautiful area of Kona with a phenomenal view. The condo had everything we could have possibly needed for a great stay and the owners were wonderful to work with. I hope we can return soon!

Wish we had more than a week at this property

Beautiful place with unreal views of dolphins, whales, surfing and sunsets. The property was well taken care of and clean. Pool area was great for kids at end of the day. For awareness this complex is right on the main drag with a lot of loud music, the bedroom closest to the road can be a bit noisy. The master bedroom is great and can’t hear the street. Favorite place we have stayed out of all places on three islands
