Kailua-Kona Ocean View Condo

My airconditioned condo is located a block from the Ocean and gets cool ocean breezes during the day and has a great Ocean View.

It is located in the center of town and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a farmers market where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables.

The Lanai (balcony) faces west so you can enjoy the sunsets every evening.

The condo sleeps 4 comfortably. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.

We provide all linen, towels, beach towels, soap and shampoo.

We are registered as a Vacation Rental STVR-19-361653

Great location and a very nice apartment! The host was super communicative, and the check-in process was clear and very friendly.Everything was great overall. The apartment is a little less modern than expected, and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (though some of the marks may just come from the apartment’s age rather than lack of cleaning).That said, the place is very well equipped, and having beach gear available was a big plus! I’d definitely recommend staying here!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in Laury's condo in Kona on our 25th anniversary trip. It was exactly what we were looking for! The kitchen was really well stocked with everything . He had chairs towels cooler umbrella snorkeling equipment for the beach everything was walkable at this location. He was leaving the condo when we arrived so we got to meet him and talk for a minute made us feel very welcome definitely try the oranges and limes he left as welcome gifts so very delicious!! Great location for Ironman, everything we needed.

The condo was perfect for our stay in Kona for the Ironman World Championships, location was within walking distance of key race areas however having a hire car meant we really made the most of the area. The condo was perfect for 2 people with everything provided including snorkels, basics for cooking, coffee, toiletries etc. Aircon if needed but we didn’t use. The Americans love their vehicles and it could be noisy on the road at night (loud revving etc) but this didn’t interfere too much for us. Easy to use washing machine and dryer on site also. Comms and booking with Laury was super easy and we appreciated everything the condo offered. Highly recommend, we would love to come back. Mahola

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The owner, Laurence, welcomed us with a bowl of fruit from his garden. The condo is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. There were beach chairs and beach towels available for our use. The view from the balcony is beautiful and gives you a good sunset view.

Such a perfect little condo with an incredible view

We loved our stay because the host provided very clear communication and the condo was organized, clean, and had everything you need in the kitchen to cook at home. It was set up perfectly for our 3 person family and had beach chairs and a cooler, etc to make beach days a breeze. It's a great location so you can walk to the water, pier and restaurants. Check the guest book for recommendations!

Perfect base for Big Island adventure

This suite was a perfect base for our Big Island adventure. Very clean and comfortable with all the conveniences needed, including kitchen wares, food containers and wrap for picnics, snorkeling and beach gear (including 2 coolers), extra towels and sheets, extra toiletries, and AC for humid nights. We had a small issue with the shower not draining the first day, but Laury called a plumber in ASAP to fix it and even brought us a bottle of wine for our troubles! He is a great host--super responsive. There's a good view of the ocean from the lanai and the suite is a 3-5 minute walk to the Kailua waterfront area with shops/restaurants/coffee/farmers market. Neighborhood was a bit noisy at night, but that was to be expected so close to downtown. The key operated elevator and locking metal screen door made us feel safe and secure. The parking is convenient, and there's really easy vehicle access on/off the main road. Very close to Safeway, Walmart, and other shops too, which was handy for buying groceries and other essentials. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect get-a-way in Kona

The host, Laury was so easy to communicate with prior the start of our vacation and during the checkin process. Laury left us fresh fruit from his garden. Bonus touch. Condo is exactly as described. Very comfortable and clean with all kitchen amenities needed. Lots of beach stuff, snorkeling gear, ice chest, umbrella to use. We definitely used the beach stuff that came in handy. Location is key. Although, we had a rental car, we were able to walk to the local restaurant, bar and beach in Kona village. I definitely would recommend and stay again in Laury condo the next I travel to Kona. Thank you for hosting my family!

great location with an beautiful ocean view

Building is located in Kona downtown within walking distance from farmers market, stores, restaurants, etc. Though space is not very big, it was enough for three of us. There's a very nice ocean view, especially for watching sunsets. When we arrived, the place was very clean. Check in and checkout process is simple and we didn't have problems with going through it. There's one parking spot assigned to the apartment.

Great Location

This is in the heart of everything. Easy walking to food, shopping, beach. Pros: Clean, great location, great property manager, nice little pool area without a ton of people, nice view of ocean from lanai, strong Wi-Fi, quiet condo, dedicated parking spot Cons: you have to supply your own toilet paper and paper towels, there are no dish towels, laundry takes quarters to use, no A/C (although lots of great fans keep it comfortable if you aren’t heat sensitive), bright light from walkway so room isn’t dark at night. Those are things that I would have been more prepared for if I had known, but that being said I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very nice CLEAN older, but upgraded, property

We only stayed here for four nights and then we are heading up to Another place further north. This was a great area the tradewinds made the place so cool. We actually got to watch that cruise ship come in and leave, from our balcony. Just a couple it shows in the bathroom with drainage. But everything else was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Within walking distance to all the restaurants to small beaches to swim at, to the farmers market and you can catch the trolley to get around also. We've been coming to Hawaii for 35 years and this is the first time we've stayed down in this area. So glad we stayed here. Everyone was so friendly. Thank you very much

Great location

This place was amazing. Close to market, shops and the beach. Only small issue with the room not being cleaned, but that was corrected and the rest of our stay couldn’t have been better. I had to contact the host and he answered and got the problem fixed right away. I would definitely book here again if I make it back to Kona.

Cute place. Convient location. Walkable to most shops and restaurants. Easy check in. Quick response from owner. The only complaint I have was the TV/cable didn't work properly. Had sound, no picture. Luckily I had my laptop for late night movies.

This beautiful property was perfect for my husband and I! It was clean and had a gorgeous view of the ocean!! Located right behind our church and in walking distance to downtown and local coffee shops!! Only neg was that the pool was dirty so we couldn’t swim. We would rent this condo again and again!!
