This oceanfront residence is a gated estate situated in a private neighborhood off of Kailua-Kona’s scenic Ali’i Drive, just 5 minutes from town. Recently remodeled, this home reflects a true sense of place with Hawaii-style architecture, expansive indoor-outdoor living spaces, wrap around lanais, lagoon-shaped swimming pool with spa and coco palms framing the amazing ocean and sunset views.

This 4 bedroom 4 bathroom home has enough room for the whole family!

Wonderful property that has everything we needed just to relax and enjoy the beautiful Hawaii ocean and sky. The pool gave our family an easy activity to anchor each day. It was really nice being able to decide where to lay in the sun: pool chair, hammock, or day bed. One of the most relaxing trips we've taken as a family. The kitchen was well-stocked and was great for cooking a variety of meals. The beds were comfy. Everything was great, just as pictured.

Our host was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. The home was clean and is well located close to town. Great pool and yard. The view of the ocean is great. The beach front is public so you will see random people walking out there, but wasn’t really a bother. The pictures are accurate. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Would definitely go back

SIMPLY AMAZING!

From the first point of contact with Marji to our extended check-out time, Marji was incredibly accommodating and provided very detailed information about her home and the surrounding areas to help us plan a fantastic annual family trip. Her home was just stunning and provided every comfort and luxury. Needless to say, the views were like no other.... just breathtaking! We felt spoiled every minute. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and we hope to visit again soon!

A lovely stay in a fabulous house

We had a great time at Marji’s property: it was a wonderful place for our adult family and family friends to catch up and relax! Fantastic pool, wonderful views, and two comfortable, luxurious primary suites. The other two bedrooms—the not-en-suite queen and the studio were comfortable and spacious but less luxe. The kitchen was great for entertaining and cooking in, and we really appreciated how responsive both Marji and her manager Amy were!

Spectacular Property

We have stayed here several times over the last few years. Always our first choice. This is a unique property in that it combines a great location to activities and restaurants, with a beautiful home, and with an enormous private yard right on the ocean with a pool, gazebo, hammocks and crashing waves. I do not know of another property that did not "sell" their backyard to some developer. This property is truly unique. The local property manager is a gem - friendly and very responsive. We had an issue with the coffee maker the first morning, we notified the property manager at 6 am, and we had a new coffee maker by 9:30 (after the stores opened)! We are already planning our next visit...

Spring Break Getaway

We had a wonderful 7-night stay in the Big Island. This was a great home base highlighted by the beachfront backyard. It was great spending time out there watching the waves out playing catch with the kids. The home is also centrally located, about 5-10 minutes from a number of shoppes, grocery stores and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away.

Family Holiday/Birthday Celebration

This property exceeded all expectations! The photos do not do it justice with how beautiful it is. The property not only had gorgeous views, it had plenty of space to fit our group of 10, it was incredibly stocked with everything one would need for a comfortable stay and the location was ideal. The property manager was very responsive to any and all questions and showed us everything upon arrival. I would HIGHLY recommend this property. We already miss the house and the views.

Amazing Location, Beautiful House, Wonderful Hosts

This was our fifth stay at this property. Every stay ends with discussion about when to come next! The owner and the local manager are wonderful - communicative and definitely convey the spirit of aloha. A five star experience, but with the privacy of a luxurious Hawaii style house, right on the ocean.

Paradise personified

We've stayed at this property a few times now, but this was our first stay since the pandemic. New owners since our previous stay and although the property was already fantastic, they've found a few tweaks and improvements to make things even better. As other reviews have pointed out, as good as the photos are they really do not do it justice. There is simply nothing negative to say about this place. The location is stunning, watching sunsets from the garden wall is jaw-dropping. The garden is immaculate, a very generous size, and very private. The house is finished to a very high standard and the owners have thought of pretty much everything you may need while enjoying your stay. If you need a definitive example of perfection done right, just stay at this property. There is absolutely nothing I can say - however trivial - that is anything less than 10/10 Sitting in the hammock, with a morning coffee and an unobstructed view of whales breaching just a few hundred yards away........things don't get much better than that. We'll be coming back (again) - staying anywhere else on the island would feel like a huge downgrade.

Wow!

Everything was perfect!! I would highly recommend this property! Amy was super helpful with check in and questions throughout the week. The location was fabulous - beach, ocean and location to Kailua. The house was so comfortable, clean, well stocked and I really just want to live there. :). Coffee on the wall in the morning, reading in the floaty tube in the pool, games on the deck in the evening...it just doesn't get any better.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home, wonderful location and scenery. Close to shopping, restaurants and activities. Close to amenities but feels far away. Plenty of space for everyone. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Landscaping was fantastic. A few hiccups, but were resolved promptly.

Great Kona home

This is a fantastic location and beautiful home. It had everything we needed - beach supplies, pool toys, and a well stocked kitchen. The views of the ocean and sunset can’t be beat. Stunning property, everything worked

Absolutely beautiful. Palm trees, ocean, gorgeous lawn. Saw whales and dolphins from the property. Waterfall, jacuzzi, lights can be controlled via a supplied iPad. Water lilies and lily pads in a water feature separate from the pool, next to exterior gazebo with walkway. All the rooms were beautiful with nice woodwork. Furnishings were top-notch. Model home. Easy communication.

Oceanfront Paradise

This property is spectacular in every way. High quality furnishings throughout with everything in the kitchen you could ever need. A true Hawaiian-style open living space that brings the beauty outside, inside, with the sounds of the gentle breaking of waves just past the expansive lawn and the serene and relaxing sound of a waterfall in the background. Heated pool and hot tub (rare for even high-end rentals) and plenty of room for larger groups. There were whales close to shore all day, every day, along with large pods of dolphins swimming right by every morning and wondrous sunsets. Exquisite in every way! Amy, the Property Manager, was friendly, extremely helpful, attentive to everything we needed and was exceptionally responsive. We would give this property and our overall experience a "20" rating if it were possible. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this lovely Hawaiian home!
