”The house is in a great location- near everything and in a quaint neighborhood that felt safe. On site parking was a huge plus in addition to plenty of space throughout the house. Bathrooms well stocked as well as kitchen! Accommodating host - definitely recommend and would stay here again! ”

”6 adults and 2 children fit nicely in the home. Excellent location, both to the beach and conveniences. House was well stocked with shower towels as well as every kitchen utensil needed. House was very clean overall. We did have to reach out to the management company during our stay (unrelated to the home itself) and they immediatly replied and handle the issue. Overall we will look to rent this house again for future island visits.”

”The Whimsical Mermaid Cottage was a cute little place to bring my small family for our first trip to Galveston! It was very clean and not a far drive to the beach and all that Galveston has to offer! Can’t wait to come back!”

”This location is beautiful and the host has great style, but it needs upkeep. There were broken or chipped glasses in the kitchen cabinet. This place is perfect for a family vacation or staycation, but if you’re planning a longer stay please bring toilet paper because each bathroom had only one toilet paper roll. Also, bring a grill if you want to bbq. This place doesn’t have a good grill. And finally, don’t head to the cottage without receiving your check-in info; I had to request it after host...

”Property was nice. The kitchen is completely stocked with any kind of cookware you need. The main bedroom has a queen bed and is quite stiff, all of the other beds were nice. Only complaint is we booked a week with the property and they only supplied one roll of bathroom tissue and one roll of paper towels. We had to purchase our own.”
