Matkat – Kanalia

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, a great location and very close to small town with shopping and great restaurants. Breakfast was very good, my only constructive feedback is that the bed wasn’t really comfortable

I was nervous about this resort reading prior reviews. We were upgraded on check in to a sea view room, it was beautiful. The front desk staff were all very helpful and answered all my questions. Our check out was later on in the evening and the hotel gave us towels and a place to store our bags so we could enjoy another beach day. They also have a shower stall near the lobby. We used the loungers next door at yialo yialo for 30 euro each front row, 25 euro each for second row and back. Hotel transport contacted us via what’s app to arrange transfers. To town was 35 euro each way. From airport it was 40 euro. Breakfast was continental style buffet, a variety of choices. The beach and location were gorgeous. If you’re booking a budget room then expect that, that’s the same for any resort. If you book the sea view you should have no complaints. This was a great hotel for us (middle aged mom and teen daughter).

Cannot say enough nice things about how friendly and accommodating the staff was. The pool / sea views are amazing - some of the best on the island. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Erato Hotel felt like I was staying at a family home but in my own quiet apartment. The room was spacious and bright. The ambiance of the hotel is peaceful and clean. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. There is a 2-level patio with a sun shade and a garden surrounding it. I ate outside but there is room inside as well. The view is of Ornos Beach which is walking distance. The beach has all the restaurants you could want with a short distance to the Ornos Market (grocery store) which is well supplied. My room (39) had a small balcony with a great view of the sea. I will stay again if I have the opportunity to return to Mykonos. Great value too!
