”Beautiful location surrounded by stunning nature, with amazing rooms and a breakfast of a very high standard. However, the grounds and overall maintenance do not reflect the level expected from a Relais & Châteaux or Michelin Key property. There were dry leaves and weeds throughout the territory, and several trees appeared infested or dying. ”Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels. Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation. Expedia also promised a $50 voucher for VIP access when I purchased the room. The hotel said this was not communicated to them, and Expedia said they cannot honour after I arrived at the hotel. ”The room was smaller than advertised. Didn’t have a much space. The bathroom was stylish but the shower drain didn't work and flooded the bathroom. Also no hot water from the shower. What saved it a bit was the friendly hotel manager and the nice beach lounge across the road. ”
