”This hotel has amazing potential and was probably once quite grand. The facilites are tired and in need of maintenance and updates. We were there out of season so it was very quiet and the staff seemed a little challenged in knowing what to do. The beach is great and the grounds are super. I would stay here again but I’d check my room and test the shower before settling on my room. ”

”Lovely setting - nice touch having flowers on the bed and turn down service. The units all look inwards to the pool which was used regularly by us. At night the pool has lights and makes for a romantic swim. There was no jug to make tea or coffee or facilities to cook yet there was a fry pan, pots and dishes. Even microwave would have been useful. The restaurant wan't operational - we would have used it. Breakfast was delivered to the room daily and was good.”

”El hotel es muy lindo y está bien ubicado, aunque se llama Beach Resort pero no esta en primera fila de playa. Solo hay wifi en la recepción. El desayuno es bastante pobre, nada que ver con la foto que muestran. La pileta cierra a las 6pm lo cual impide usarla luego de la playa”

”Coastgate has very friendly staff and great service. They were very flexible to arrange our stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel was clean and cozy. The only downside is the surroundings. It's not really a place to spend a week, because there's not much around it. It is close to the airport, though, and it's a perfect place to spend a night and eat properly before long flights.”

”One thing very unique to this property it the entertainment (animation) team. Those guys, are over and beyond anyone expectations and makes this location a unique destination. They've activities all day, from dancing, aquarobics and live acrobatic and music shows, and all that for FREE, at no extra cost ... amazing. Also, location is within walking distance to a lot of attractions and dining places. However, the property need to improve on the following: 1) a face lift, a bit of renovation 2)...

”The hotel is boring. Unless you’re going to just have a quiet vacation. Bring your own towels. Theirs are old and gross. Bathrooms are dirty. Phone in room never worked and was never fixed even after request. Fridge is filthy and barely works. Glass shelf is dusty. Tiles in the pool are chipped/broken/ or missing. But the staff was pleasant for sure. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel. I would never stay there again. The amount of money I paid here was not worth it at all. ”
