”Tucked deep inside Dos Ojos Park (note: expect dirt roads and drive slow—it's part of the adventure!), this boutique hotel is a sanctuary for those looking to truly unplug. You'll be sharing the space with beautiful wildlife, be prepared for a real jungle experience. We stayed in the villa with a private cenote-water pool and a lovely outside patio perfect for evening reading. Be advised: there are no TVs, which is exactly the point! The continuous sounds of the jungle provided the most relaxing...

”We visited Monteverde in the end of our vacation and it was definitely the right decision. Service was very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and large, but cold, especially at nights. I think this was the best hotel for our purpose to visit the Monteverde forest area and there were also easy bus connections to Santa Elena. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious!”

”The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. ”

”The property grounds are very well landscaped. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area needs to be better maintained as the decking needs to be replaced before it collapses when someone walks on it. The rooms need updating. Once the new owners take possession, maybe hey will make the necessary improvements. We would love to return once upgrades have been completed. ”
