”It was nice to have a clean, modern place to stay that is walking distance to Brookland, where my daughter lives. Hotels are not close to her so this was an excellent alternative. Modern appliances, great shower, and comfortable bed were a definite plus. The building and apartment are secure with codes locks. ”

”We had such a great experience at this stay. From how communicative the host is to feasibility of check in/out, the stay was stress free and accommodating. The host provided concise instructions, great hospitality and timely responses to questions which made this trip that more enjoyable. Everything was very well put together in the stay, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. I’d highly recommend this stay and will definitely rebook with the host in the future!”

”My husband and I’s mini-honeymoon stay at the Wayside Inn was great! The room we had was clean, spacious, charming, and cozy all at once. Mr. Joe the innkeeper was very friendly and was always there when we needed him for anything. He also cooks a mean breakfast and has a great knowledge of the unique history of the property. Overall, it was a great place to get away from the bustle and noise of the city and just relax! Hopefully we will get to come back soon 😊”

”Andre was super friendly and welcoming! We ended up booking this super last minute because of a family funeral that we had to attend, and it ended up being an awesome spot. The rental was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The reclining sofa and chairs were so comfy. There was a ton of cool artwork throughout the inside of the house. ”The host was marvelous. She had the site set up nicely. It was clean. She had plenty of towels and wash clothes. Very well done A few complaints, some of the neighborhood residents were asking for money. That was annoying. The parking was difficult on some days. I expressed all of this to the host, and she said they are working on improvements.”

”The managers were super responsive, check in was easy and the place had everything I needed for a short stay. Located near a lot of important landmarks, and not far from the Capitol, Wharf or the airport. I noticed folks in the neighborhood were also kind, alert and helpful.”
