”We visited Monteverde in the end of our vacation and it was definitely the right decision. Service was very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and large, but cold, especially at nights. I think this was the best hotel for our purpose to visit the Monteverde forest area and there were also easy bus connections to Santa Elena. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious!”

”Ingen info om noget da vi ankom. Virkede som om vi var til besvær. Vidste ikke rigtig hvem der var ansat, og hvem der var gæster. Køkkenet vi kunne tilberede vores mad i var beskidt. Madvarer hunde/katte foder og madskåle til dyr stod midt på gulvet i køkkenet Værelse var fint. Blev først gjort rent på 3. dagen da vi bad om det. ”

”The room was fairly basic and could have used air conditioning, but it was quiet, clean, well located and the staff were just incredibly helpful and friendly. Such nice people. Really enjoyed meeting them and appreciated all their guidance in what to see, where to eat, etc. They made it a memorable stay. Very glad I chose to stay there.”

”We wanted to book somewhere in the middle of nowhere and this was what we booked. What a stunning view of the surrounding area and the night sky was something I hope I can remember forever. The lodge was what you can expect for the price, certainly adequate enough and breakfast was more than enough and was included too. We arrived just before the season start and I think there’s an image of the jacuzzi but don’t expect it to be operational, no big deal. Have a walk around the local area, there’s...
