”Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. ”

”We absolutely LOVED this place! My kids said it’s hands down the best place we’ve ever stayed. The treehouse is magical, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful, the kitchen perfectly appointed. I couldn’t speak higher of this perfect spot. Even walkable to town (sidewalk the whole way) although a bit far with young kids. And the local store just around the corner had everything we needed. The trail around the property we walked multiple times and all enjoyed....

”We really loved this property. Location: it is a little out of the town, not by much but it is a steep hill to climb, so if you don't like a bit of a walk this is not the place for you. It has 2 access points, 1 by vehicle and 1 by foot. We read reviews about the vehicle access being concerning if you didnt have a 4v4. We had a Yaris and managed just fine. ”Rooms are cabin like. No air conditioning or pool but evenings were cooler. Lots of different tours and shopping experiences. Hard to park in town but found a good restaurant with a parking lot. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable ”

”The property is 1,5 km from the ferrylanding, mostly uphill. Without a car you need to walk or pay the taxidriver whatever he asks (5000 colon, which seemed to be a ripoff for this distance). The little cabin is on a closed private hillside property with a nice secluded beach. The proximity of bioluminescence tours are its advantage. There are howlermonkeys and iguanas and birds around the house. The little wooden cabin has an openair kitchen and a privet outside bathroom. They provide good...

”I can highly recommend this place! We were being welcomed by the friendly (and very helpful) host and her two sweet dogs and cats. The place was clean and in a nice condition. The location was also nice - within a walking distance from the city centre. They were also very helpful with booking tours (and with transport to the tours) - so if you are interested in that you can easily ask in the reception! The only reason I didnt give it the perfect score was because of some dogs baking right...
