”Our check in process was a little strange. We had not received any information prior to showing up about how to access the unit. Instead, when we arrived there was a person that came up to us and showed us how to get in. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that we would be meeting a person because check in was anytime after 4pm. Would she had still been there if we didn't arrive until later that night? The unit did provide some essentials like a hair dryer and shampoo which was nice....

This space is so lovely &, though not much separates the room from the studio/gallery space attached, the owners are quite respectful of privacy & were very helpful when we were too techno-challenged to open the door initially. ”I spent a rainy weekend at the ‘Chic Studio Cabin in Boothbay Harbor’ for a personal meditation retreat, and it was exactly what I needed. Even with the rain, the cabin was warm and cozy thanks to the propane fireplace. I loved soaking in the beautiful claw-foot tub while listening to the rain—it was so relaxing.The views of the water were peaceful, and I really enjoyed watching the nesting ospreys nearby. ”As advertised: a lovely place to stay, extremely safe and quiet area, close to conveniences. Host was easy to reach and responded quickly & friendly. Only marked 4 stars on cleanliness due to some cobwebs and area in front of door had grass clippings that could have been cleaned off. Would definitely stay here again!”

”First, this property was sooo clean! The beds were extremely comfortable and they even provided extra blankets in the closets! The kitchen has lots of amenities if you are staying awhile and cooking. The apartment gets great lighting, there’s no noisy neighbors and the heater is amazing! Love how close it is to downtown where everything is. We went to a local bar for dinner “the social goose” where the staff was friendly and food was amazing! Over all. ”The apartment was very comfortable, well-equipped and roomy. Only my husband and I stayed this trip, but the space is plenty large enough to accommodate a family. Thank you to Spencer and his wife for helping us by quickly replacing the large flat screen TV that went on the fritz. They were so attentive and pleasant to deal with.
