”The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

The pub & restaurant have an amazing wine selection, a superb selection of excellent beers from Lacons and fabulous food. ”Fantastic stay! The room was wonderful and thoughtfully catered for my dog. Often, pet-friendly rooms can feel a bit second-rate compared to others, but this was absolutely not the case. The room was spotless, cozy, and warm — complete with a dog bed, treats, bowls, and even poo bags, which was such a nice touch. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The staff were outstanding — so helpful, friendly, and welcoming to both me and my dog. He was treated like a...

”A beautiful period property in a stunning location. Always a warm welcome from the owner and you couldn’t find a more beautiful setting to wake up.Deer often walking around the grounds in the early morning when you open the curtains of your perfectly decorated room.”

” Good location on the edge of town, convenient for the buses along the North Norfolk coast. Short walk into the town. Ample car parking on the street or in the yard. Room was not overlarge but was clean and had everything needed and the decor was good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Continental type breakfast ample and varied. Altogether, a very positive experience and we would be happy to book again when we come to Sheringham.”

”An old but well kept hotel, very unique and lovely! The room was tiny, but it had everything we needed. The location is nice right in center of an very old town. The breakfast was included in the price and it was absolutely amazing! The proportions were huge and so good, we could come back to this hotel only for the breakfast!”
