Room was comfortable. It had the amenities you would expect to find tea,coffee & toiletries. Only 1 pillow each, no others in the room. I did t ask for any others so unsure if they were available or not.
Room was outside, similar to motel setting in USA. As it was raining heavily the wooden stairs and platform was quite slippery( there were signs warning of this).
We arrived earlier than check in time so knew we would have to wait. Even at 3pm they had to ask the housekeepers if the room was ready and it wasn’t quite so had to wait additionally.There was a nice bar area and we had a very nice lunch. Quite an extensive menu and reasonably priced. It did get busy both at lunch and dinner. There is a separate restaurant area where the breakfast is served also.
Breakfast has to be pre ordered and you have to pick what you want at the time of ordering. I prefer to decide on the morning. I assume this is to cut down on waste?
The lady serving breakfast was not overly welcoming and everything seemed too much trouble, not just for us but for other guests too.
I have to say the younger staff serving in the bar/restaurant in the evening were very helpful and friendly.
