  • Kamaole Sands #5-313 is a desirable one bedroom, two bath unit with an amazing view of a scenic tropical courtyard, complete with a fountain and pond, as well as the sparkling Pacific Ocean. Wifi and long-distance calls to the mainland are included. The air-conditioned master bedroom has a king size bed with a flat screen TV/DVD. The en suite includes a shower/tub combo. The guest bath is equipped with a walk-in shower. Besides a mesmerizing view, the living room features a flat screen TV, air conditioning, and a queen-sized sofa bed. Kamaole Sands #5-313 has one of the best locations in the complex and will sleep up to 4 people. Located behind the pool area, this unit overlooks an expansive lawn bordered on 3 sides providing a wonderful place to stretch your legs or children to safely play. The cool trade breezes keeping the lanai very comfortable for relaxing as you enjoy the scenery. Same day bookings and those arriving within 24 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation. Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation. Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights. We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience. Kamaole Sands is the premiere property in South Kihei. Located across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features two tennis courts (no fee) and three pickleball courts. Adult and junior tennis rackets and pickleball paddles are available to rent with complementary balls. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis.Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Every Wednesday, Kamaole Sands hosts a complimentary gathering with live music and hula dancers. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. It is also minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Idyllic home away from home

A great unit in a beautiful complex in a central location! We loved the kitchen, the walkability to the beach, and especially the view from the lanai! We remarked many times throughout the week that we couldn’t have picked a better spot on Maui!

Great location

Great property with beautiful grounds and a nice pool, right across from Kamaole Beach III! Excellent location, central to everything. You still need a rental car to get around but nothing is very far. The condo is spacious and has a beautiful view from the lanai, great sunsets :)

Fun just as advertised

Great location just steps from beach. In a neighborhood so not a lot of noise at night. It was close to many parts of the island. Less than an hour to most destinations.

Peaceful condo

The condo at Kamaole Sands bldg 5 was an awesome place. Clean, easy access, well maintained- everything you want for a vacation away from home. Personable and comfortable. Super convenient location .. across from Kam III and walking distance to dinner and or breakfast. Lovely

Fit our needs

Condo had everything but could use some updating.Complex overall was well taken care of.Enjoyed one day of Hula dancers by pool.You definitely won't be sleeping in. You can hear all the neighbors in rooms next to you and outside traffic.Overall it did fit our needs.

Everything we needed

We enjoyed our stay at Kamoale Sands. This unit had a beautiful view of the property grounds and the ocean in the distance. We could watch the sunset from our balcony. It was nice to have all of the beach gear in the unit. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler and a wagon. The wagon was very handy to get our things down to the beach. The grounds are beautifully kept and the shared BBQ areas around the grounds are easy to access. We had a wonderful stay.

We appreciated the board games and had some nice family game nights while staying. A beach wagon, chairs and umbrella made planning beach days easy. The unit is clean, but showing a little wear here and there. The bed is a nice big King size but has a soft foam topper on top which is not comfortable for us, but may work fine for others. Overall it's a nice unit with basic amenities. The A/C in the bedroom is KEY when the trade winds aren't blowing!! The Rentals Maui management company is very easy to work with.

Very nice and spacious condo

We had a great stay in this condo. The living area is bigger than other condos we’ve stayed at, the view is wonderful, the condo was very clean and totally bug-free, a nice breeze came through the condo all day long, the late afternoon sun was blocked by a column so that was never an issue, the sofa bed was very comfortable both as a couch and as a bed for our 2 grandsons who stayed over for a few nights, the king sized bed is very comfortable (a major consideration for us), and the wooden blinds in the bedroom did a great job of blocking the morning sun. It would be nice if the owners would provide a portable DVD player for use in the condo, however. Our only real complaint was that the condo complex managers did not provide carts to help the residents carry suitcases and groceries to their condos - that is simply unacceptable in our view. That issue notwithstanding, we would strongly recommend this condo; it’s a great condo in a great location.

Vacation 2022

The tub in the master bath was not draining and never was the kitchen sink , which was dealt with. The condo was not cleaned well. The fans in the bathrooms were dusty. The floors were dirty. The washer sprung a leak. The owner did order another set but it arrived on December 9. We left on December 10. It was not convenient to have to do laundry at a laundry mat while we were on vacation. A bit of update to the condo would make the stay more enjoyable. Love the location of the condo and Kamaole Sands.
