”We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.”

”Steve was really friendly and helped us find a nice place for dinner and breakfast. Kindly sorted a parking space on the property as I think it was a quiet night. ”We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. ”Quiet location even though it's just off the main road. Check in was fine until the receptionist said we were in the new block, which was out of the door and turn left. No signage showing where the room was. Receptionist should have accompanied us. Room and bathroom we're both nice and clean. Only comment we didn't like the pillows. Food in the restaurant was nice but not value for money. Service in the restaurant was very good. Stockbridge stop over for us whilst heading to Southampton. ”
