”Our stay at Cypress Moon Inn was idyllic! The home is close to amenities. Cocooned on a large waterfront lot in a haven of trees, you feel miles away from the bustle. ”Mold covered leftover food in the refrigerator. Walls were paper thin. We could hear the couple in the room next door talking until 1:00am and the hear the male guest snoring the rest of the night. Second stay in a row at an IHG property we have had issues with. Last one had no A/C. That was the only up side to this stay, the A/C was above average for this franchise. Requested a call from management, nothing as of today. Selected this property based on price, you get what you pay for.”

”They had a crows nest type deck to sit and enjoy the water which was great. We went in March so still chilly. We will opt for 2nd or 3rd floor next time. They had wine and cheese at 4pm and continental breakfast at 8 am-ish. Flies made cheese and crackers part unappealing and it was not even available first night. Continental breakfast was ehhhh. Most options were past sell date. Mike greated us when we got there and showed us around. Super nice. Would have liked to have a list of restaurants...

”We had a pleasant stay. Our room had 2 beds and a sitting area with a full balcony. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices and snacks were always out. I would stay there again.”

”The hotel is in the middle of renovations, so there’s that. Great location and check in staff was friendly. For the price we paid for an oceanfront room, the room was ok. It had been updated, but there were cigarette ashes on our balcony and hair all over our room floor. The bathroom ceiling had mold. The neighbors that stayed near us Saturday night were obnoxiously loud til 4:30am, but that’s not the hotels fault. ”

”This hotel was a nice find, excellent quality for the price. The building is a bit run down outside, but we were there off-season and it seemed there was a lot of maintenance going on. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. They even served a breakfast, which was adequate. The location is wonderful, right next to the beach!”

”This was our third time staying here and never again. It has gone way downhill ended up leaving right after checkin. There was a terrible smell that greeted us in the hallway and into our room. Everything was very dirty. The ac/ heat was super musty smelling. Will never return. ”

”I need urgent escalation for a health and safety issue (bedbugs). I have photos and evidence of bites. The hotel did not provide assistance at checkout. I am requesting a full refund and reimbursement. Please escalate to a supervisor.”

Staff was very friendly and very accommodating for a last minute decision to stay and unsure if I would need to stay another night due to a road closing and undetermined reopening. The staff tried to help me figure the status of the road closing keeping me from my home. Very kind”

”Clean, comfortable and affordable room with nice shower! Bri met us with a smile and showed us around the place. We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. ”
