”Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated. The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind. The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice. Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious.”

”Wonderful hosts whom made us a late request dinner. Rooms were clean and neat and everything was well decorated and functioning. A very nice breakfast as well. A minute to the ferry to Isle of Mull giving plenty of time for a day exploring Duart castle and Tobermorey. Highly recommend!”

”We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. ”There was a mix up with the booking as we were down as dog owners!! Then we had no towels in the room which we had to chase down so we could shower before the meal we had booked. When we got to the restaurant there was more confusion about the booking. However, the restaurant staff were great and even after an issue with our meal order it was quickly resolved. The food was excellent.”

”We were fortunate to have booked our 2 night stay in Inveraray at The George Hotel. Our room was upgraded to allow a large group of ladies to have rooms near each other. We truly lucked out. The room was beautiful, quiet and lovely water views. Every member of the staff was amazing at making us feel welcomes and like long friends. Yule even shared one of his cocktail recipes with us. We highly recommend you stay at The George Hotel if you will be in the area.”

”The darling couple who own and run the B&B are extremely delightful. Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The bonus was the view from the property was gorgeous.”

”The room was VERY small. So if you’re on a longer visit with lots of luggage the room we were in (#2) would not be able to accommodate you and your luggage. We asked for a king bed but it was a queen and there was no AC on an unusually warm weather day. We were on the first level so the guests who were in the rooms above kept pacing overnight and the noise was loud and prevented us from getting any sleep. The young woman who was our server at breakfast 6/23 was rude and unpleasant which has not...
