”Parking at the back which was easy to find. Plenty spaces free while we were there in July. Gorgeous decked terraces at the back with flowers and lights. We entered car reg on the screen as we went in & went to check-in. This was an easy process and staff member was polite & efficient. We were shown to our room at the top of the first lot of stairs & the staff member explained about breakfast etc. Lovely sized room overlooking King Street. We were there during a heatwave, but the room was cool....

”Excellent hotel, lovely room and comfy beds. Just a little slow on serving your drinks but as time goes on hopefully will improve. Can’t believe tax goes on the bill. But would highly recommend. Transfer from hotel to airport is excellent the driver was very knowledgeable and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.”

”Quite dated in decor and furnishings, but all in keeping with the look and feel of an older country residence. Every interaction was a helpful, friendly one. Would return if I have reason to stay in the area again”

We had an evening meal and a full breakfast and they were both very tasty. Having an EV charger (22kW) in the car park was a really useful bonus as we left our car to charge overnight. ”This is a lovely hotel with fitness club, golf course, etc.. We didn't use any of these as we were just passing through. Very nice room and surroundings. One thing could be done to improve the experience - clean the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfasting room.”
