Seawater pool villa was AMAZING
We stayed four nights at the seawater pool villa and we liked it very much! The view was spectacular (from the pool/terrace and also from the villa) and the villa was very beautiful. The bed was really comfy. It was quiet and peacefull and a lot of privacy. The showers and the toilet were ”outside”, so there might sometimes be some bugs. The service was really good and the breakfast was excellent. There was a seaview from the restaurants also. The whole resort area was cosy and pretty. It really was a paradise!

Wonderful place but COVID affects a bit too much
Returning to Santhiya after 5 years as our last time was one of our most memorable trips. The place is still wonderful with the amazing wooden craftwork and amazing views. We had Pool Villa 1206 with great views, excellent pool and patio - with some shadow available but still mostly sunny the whole day. And the views really great. The villas from outside are starting to require some extra maintenance soon but with the price-quality the villas are fantastic. Breakfast is nice with the best omelets that we’ve had anywhere else and breathtaking views give extra points. The biggest complain goes to restaurants and service. They had only the main restaurant open for lunch and dinner, which serves ok food but not the quality that such a great place otherwise would deserve. Handy QR code ordering although some trouble getting the solution work and a bit slow service. Normally the place has 3 or more restaurants open but during COVID just this one apparently. Would have expected at least one fancier place to be open as most other resorts we visited on Koh Yao Noi and Phuket had almost everything open. We ended up visiting Isaac Fine and next door beach restaurant that had better quality, more range and cheaper price for the food and drinks. The atmosphere at the restaurant was still the best among the options. Also no turndown service offered which was a bummer. Still a great place but hope they can open more of the restaurants and improve the service.

Kaikinpuolin täydellistä! Hyvät ravintolat kohtuuhinnoin, mielettömät näköalat, koko alue ylipäätään huikean kaunis ja pienimpiinkin yksityiskohtiin kiinnitetty huomiota. Mielettömät uima-altaat ja ranta. Lähellä myös paikallisia edullisia ravintoloita. Palvelu erinomaista. Ei voi muuta kuin suositella tätä kohdetta!

Hieno paikka
Hieno hotellialue ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hotellilla ruuat ja juomat on tosi kalliita thaimaan hintatasoon nähden, eikä lähialueella oikein ole muita ravintoloita/kuppiloita, siitä vähän miinusta. Varasimme hotellin kautta lentokenttäkuljetuksen kohteeseen ja pois lähtiessä he myös hommasivat meille kuljetuksen seuraavaan hotelliin, molemmat kyydit oli järjestetty hyvin ja pääsimme vaivattomasti kohteesta a paikkaan b. Majoituimme merinäköalahuoneessa, jossa oli oma kylpyamme. Ihan mieletön huone! Joskin ilmastointilaite ja jääkaappi piti aikamoista meteliä. Ei siis paras vaihtoehto herkkäunisille. Kannattaa toivoa ylimmän kerroksen huonetta, koska alempiin kerroksiin kuuluu kaikki äänet tai valitkaa oma huvila uima-altaalla.

This is a must-stay resort if you are visiting Phuket, especially if it a aromantic getaway. It is incredibly beautiful and relaxing, but the staff most of all make it an unforgettable experience. The only downside is that even though they have transportation to the main island, it’s not always convenient and it of no fault of their own (can’t travel by speedboat at night). This wasn’t an issue with us as there were plenty of beach bars, things to do, excursions, and the resort itself was immaculate. We were truly sad when we had to say goodbye.

Santhiya Kho Yao Yao is a beautiful, traditional Thai resort hotel with kind attentive staff who help to create a calm and relaxing environment. Once you arrive on the island on a fast speed boat from Phuket you immediately feel you have arrived in an oasis of calm and gentle surroundings. The hotel staff are kind and caring and I found little or no fault with the standard of service and their attentive attitude. The hotel is built in a traditional Thai style with beautiful ornate woodwork in the rooms and villas. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The villas with private pools are even more spacious and all of them have spectacular views of the sea or gardens. The hotel has 3 restaurants which serve Thai food, Japanese food and a wide selection of western foods. For me, the Japanese restaurant was exceptional with outstanding quality Japanese cuisine at affordable prices. The breakfast is served in the restaurant at the top out the hill close to the blocks of rooms and offers a huge selection of all types of foods and is an absolute highlight and a perfect way to start the day. The pace of life in this hotel is calm and gentle and some may regard the slow pace of day to day life as a problem. However, our view was that it represents all that is central to Thai culture in the kind, respectful and relaxed environment. This was our third stay at the Santhiya and we will be back. Thank you to all the management and staff for a memorable stay.

Frühstücksauswahl groß aber wiederholend. Der Meerblick im Zimmer und beim Essen ist sehr schön. Strandliegen leider dreckig und Schrauben liegen Rum. Das Meer ist sehr trüb und teilweise steinig zu Beginn. Restaurants sind im Verhältnis zu den thailändischen Preisen sehr teuer. Massagen auch mind. 2-3x teurer. Taxi zum Pier 730THB. Viel zu teuer. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Badewanne auf dem Balkon. Es kam fast kein Wasser aus dem Hahn. Ich habe mich eig.sehr auf das Hotel gefreut, gerade da doch viele gute positive Bewertungen angezeigt wurden. Leider wurde ich enttäuscht. Kann es nicht weiterempfehlen.

The property is beautiful, decoration is very unique. The food is not good at all, order from different restaurants and it was the same, no flavor at all. The service is terrible , although the staff are nice, they greet you everywhere bit the service is bad and their english is very limited, it was very very very hard ti communicate and no-one cares about the the service. They also charge for EVERYTHING and everything is over priced. If their customer service were better and the at least some of the staff spoke english this place would be amazing. Had too many inconveniences and none of them were solve properly. Definitely not returning.

Beautiful authentic Thai resort in luxury. Island peaceful away from tourists. Rooms very nice and very cold AC. Views are amazing. Was in hotel 3. Dont stay here if you have mobility issues. Lots of stairs and in and out truck type transportation with high step up and steep hills and down to beach. You will not be right on beach. Different restatrants same menu. Service is good but not amazing in restaurants.. some of the workers act less eager to please. Typical of large resorts. Spa was great.. there are things to do... prices more expensive because where you at. Mopeds.were fun.. hard to get back to phuket..and expensive because of private pier tp ao po grand marina. This is 5 star place. Would do again

We absolutely loved our stay at Santhiya. It surpassed our expectations! The service was excellent all around -- from the shuttles to the spa to the restaurants. We also loved all the extra detail that went into things like decor, live music and fun activities around the resort. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for incredible service and Thai hospitality.

It was a great place to spend time without thinking about anything. One thing I would like to see improved is the shuttle service within the hotel grounds. Please note that if you choose a room far from the pick-up location, you will have to walk a considerable distance. However, it seems that small children, pregnant women, and people who require assistance will be transported by cart.

This was a beautiful spot for us to spend the week. The resort itself was amazing and had lot of activities to do. However, the island didn’t have much else to offer. Just a couple of local shops.
