”This was my second stay at this hotel in a couple of months because the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable, the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent value for money. The location suits me very well because it's easy to get into Newcastle either on public transport or by driving, but also it's an easy drive to get to the coast. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Great North Hotel.”

”A nice stay with a good breakfast. Didn't park my car in the hotel carpark due to £5 a day charge ( this is new). Easily parked over the road free. Hotel could do with a carpet upgrade (worn and dirty) all in all it was a nice place to stay, good clean rooms and friendly staff ”

”I stayed twice here on my recent trips and once on my earlier trip. I like it as the location is perfect, and it has everything I need. I haven't though ever had breakfast there (you can get with extra payment) as my favourite breakfast place is very close. I am in this area quite often and try to stay here if it's not fully booked on the time of my visit.”
