”Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”

”The property is small but clean and modern. It's located behind a pub which makes the location good. We stayed in the same cottage last November and everything was good, however, this time was has not good. On the first evening we found the cottage very cold. We tried altering the thermostat but no good. We had to wrap towels around us to keep warm. I sent an email to the owner but had no reply. Tried ringing him twice but it rang out. Left messages on his phone but no response. Decided to send...
