”A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access.”

”Lovely little cottage, really clean & with nice touches- dog bowls & bed, children’s books, scented candles, local guide books. Fully equipped & sparkling clean kitchen. Beautiful view from the back garden & situated in a small village around a green. Only issue was that I couldn’t turn down the heating except by turning the (very modern) boiler off. Useful to have instructions on how to do this - also a printed (not just online) manual for the house. Lovely place & I would go again.”

”We love this part of the Northumberland coast and visit regularly, and we did have a good time. I do think this cottage is overpriced for the quality of accommodation. The kitchen and main bedroom are very nice but the rest is a little tired. The furniture is miss matched flat pack and the bedding is of poor quality. One of the sofas is very uncomfortable (kids said like their student digs) the curtains are far too thin and don’t keep the cold out, we had to buy a lot of wood to keep the lounge...

”Great location and views to die for. Parking a bit tight but lovely neighbours who were happy to move cars around. We used the property as a base to attend a wedding and extended our stay to visit Alnwick and Holy Island - Newbiggin is a little tired and rundown and there isn’t a lot to do in the local area.”

”This house is outstanding. Elaine caters for everyone especially children and as we know when the kids are happy the adults can relax. We have stayed for the third time last weekend , it is such a central area with a beach minutes away also. We will be back certainly.”
