”This was an interesting stay. We prefer to avoid run-of-the-mill hotels, and this one is definitely not part of a big chain. It's decor is dated, and not luxurious, but comfortable. They have flyers giving the history of the building, the architect and it's troubled restoration. The balcony was really nice in the evening. We liked the location because it wasn't right downtown, but a few blocks away. ”

”This place was awesome! We stayed in a place much more high end last time in Kansas City in the $250+ a night range and this place out did it. The rooms were clean, quiet and let me tell you. The beds and pillows were extremely EXTREMELY comfortable. Breakfast was great. Great options for a 2 star hotel. Staff was nice and friendly. Parking convenient. Easy access to highway. Safe. Nice outdoor pool. Will be staying here again next time we visit Kansas City!! Highly recommend!!”
