”This was an interesting stay. We prefer to avoid run-of-the-mill hotels, and this one is definitely not part of a big chain. It's decor is dated, and not luxurious, but comfortable. They have flyers giving the history of the building, the architect and it's troubled restoration. The balcony was really nice in the evening. We liked the location because it wasn't right downtown, but a few blocks away. ”

”My friend and I had a great stay for a night. She left her silky, blue pillow there and the front desk said they couldn't get it but had a website for her to try and find it. We spent hours trying to see if we could get it back to no avail. She lives in KC and was hoping to drive back and get it.”
