”Booked a suite. Arrived early, asked if any chance to get a room earlier because of travelling a lack of sleep. Told, the would call us if possible. No call.. sat at reseption… at 2pm asked again, reply was ”no it is 4pm”. Sat there and watched many guests check in at 2.30. We spoke to the manager and she was no help, just adamant, It turns out, you pay for a suite and you are left till last, so book a normal room, pay less and enjoy your room more.

”No lift! The hotel listing does say that all upper floors are only accessible by stairs (it's a listed building and they aren't able to install a lift) but if you miss that information, it can be a bit of a shock if you are less able-bodied. Our room was on the third floor and quite a trek with a baby each time we came and went.
