”No lift! The hotel listing does say that all upper floors are only accessible by stairs (it's a listed building and they aren't able to install a lift) but if you miss that information, it can be a bit of a shock if you are less able-bodied. Our room was on the third floor and quite a trek with a baby each time we came and went.
However... the staff were more than willing (in fact, they insisted) to help with our small amount of luggage and show us to our room. They also said that anything we...

”The hotel was nice, breakfast good and staff very friendly and helpful.
But. The floor in our room was sloping and we had our own little downhill in the room. The beds were comfortable to sleep in if you forgot about the fact that you were sleeping tilted, yet again I’m happy it was head up and not the other way round ;) the carpet in the room was not very clean and the room was quite dusty.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

”Booked a suite. Arrived early, asked if any chance to get a room earlier because of travelling a lack of sleep. Told, the would call us if possible. No call.. sat at reseption… at 2pm asked again, reply was ”no it is 4pm”. Sat there and watched many guests check in at 2.30. We spoke to the manager and she was no help, just adamant, It turns out, you pay for a suite and you are left till last, so book a normal room, pay less and enjoy your room more.
Cleaning: Room was not cleaned properly. Hair...

”Very friendly service everywhere. Excellent breakfast. Older hotel w charm. I booked the smallest room for 3 day trip and as fairly big guy it was a mistake :) Shower so small that i was barely fitting myself in. But the room is ok if you just need a bed for the night. Room itself was clean and bed comfy. ”
