”Room was dirty, scuffed paintwork, stained carpet, skirting boards thick with grime and dust, cobwebs and dead bugs (in the cobwebs) on the ceiling. Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”

”The hotel was lovely and our room was excellent. We can't fault any of the staff as they were friendly and helpful. The only thing we had an issue with was the catering for the evening meals. On the 2 nights we ate in the restaurant there were several meals and additional dishes that weren't available on both nights. ”Arrived early as attending a wedding at the venue. To be told there was a £20 charge to allow access to the room even though it was already available. This had not been mentioned in any previous correspondence or calls. The room was average at best and the hotel was very badly signed. The only directions given for the room was turn right at the end of the corridor, no mention of multiple flights of stairs or changes in direction to eventually find the room at the back end of nowhere.
