Talo on hiljattain rakennettu ja erittäin hyvin varusteltu. Se osoittaa etelään ihanan eristäytyneelle Loch Long -kadulle. Siellä on runsaasti mahdollisuuksia kävelyyn, purjehdukseen, kalastukseen, melontaan ja muihin ulkoilma-aktiviteetteihin suoraan etuovesta ja lähialueelta. Skye-saari on enemmän 30 minuutin ajomatkan päässä.
Kiinteistö on suuri (380 m2) ja käsittää makuuhuoneen sviitin, kaksi muuta kahden hengen makuuhuonetta ja kahden hengen makuuhuoneen (pohjakerroksessa), joissa kaikissa on ylelliset kylpyhuoneet, sekä kahden hengen ja kahden hengen huone, jossa on suuri kylpyhuone. Siellä on tilava ja hyvin varustettu keittiö / ruokailutila, erillinen ruokailu- / olohuone 12 hengelle, iso olohuone ja valtava pelihuone, jossa on istuimet ja pöytätennispöytä. Ulkoiluharrastajille on tavaratila laitteiden säilyttämistä varten ja erillinen kuivaushuone. Useimmat makuuhuoneet ja tärkeimmät oleskelutilat hyötyvät upeista näkymistä.
Pihalla on valtava etelään päin oleva patio, jossa on pöytiä ja istumapaikkoja 12: lle, josta on laajat näkymät järvelle ja vuorille kaikkiin suuntiin. Rinteessä sijaitseva puutarha sisältää lisää suojaisia oleskelualueita ja ulottuu noin 3 hehtaariin. Talon sivulla ja takana on runsaasti pysäköintitilaa.

Talossa on kaikki tavanomaiset mukavuudet, kuten astianpesukone, pesukone, TV, DVD-soitin ja DVD, WiFi, kirjat, pelit jne.

Kaikki valokuvat ovat talosta tai otettu suoraan talosta .... ja minun ei tarvinnut seisoa kärjen varpaissa ja tartuttaa käsiäni ilmaan saadakseni ne!

Gorgeous huge home suitable for a group

9 of us stayed from Aug 2-Aug 8. The home is located on a loch roughly 3 miles from the Eileen Donan castle. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything we needed to cook our meals. There is also a washer and dryer that worked out very well. We had a few issues with a major leaky sink and some minor maintenance issues so gave 4 of 5 stars. The host Ged was very responsive and easy to work with. All in all we had a very nice time!

Ged’s Scottish Highlands property help to make our family vacation dreams come true! Our family of 12 with 4 children 10 and under was very comfortable in this home with plenty of room for us all and no waiting for the bathroom or shower! It is a great home base for beautiful walks and explorations of the hills , loch and its’ island. It’s not far by car from other intriguing places to explore such as Eileen Dornan castle and the Isle of Skye. Ged was very responsive to any questions we had and so helpful with any needs we had. You will not be disappointed if you choose to rent this lovely home!

Super Lage! Sehr ruhig gelegen mit gute Ausstattung und Küche. Ordentlich aber nicht super sauber, der Grill war leider aufgrund der Vormieter nicht zu brauchen. Insgesamt empfehlenswert. Ged ist äußerst bemüht und ein sehr guter Vermieter! Gerne wieder!

Stunning Property

The house and the views from it are both stunning. Lots of room for our group of 10 to spread out and cook delicious meals. The beds are all very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. A beautiful property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We are a multigenerational family (ages 21-84). House is well equipped and comfortable. The views from every room are stunning. Location is excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of space for our group of 9. Highly recommend.

Quiet and comfortable

Our stay was incredibly relaxing thanks to this warm and comfortable home. Everything was just as described. It was clean, inviting, and thoughtfully put together. The space had everything we needed for a peaceful stay, and we felt at ease from the moment we walked in. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we truly appreciated how comfortable and homey it felt. The host was responsive and we’d gladly stay here again!

House was great for family holiday with lots of space and spectacular views. Good location for visiting Skye and surrounding areas. Kids loved the table tennis. Well equipped in some aspects but kitchen could have done with a bit of a deep clean.

Beautiful property

Nice big house for a very comfortable stay. Plenty of rooms and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen as well. Views around the property are very scenic and help one immensely to unwind. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and a great experience. We will surely prefer this property again in future and recommend it anyone with a large enough group.

Convenient home base for hiking the Highlands

Bunloyne was the ideal house for our group of 7 hiking friends to explore the area in the northwest part of Scotland. It had great shared spaces, large kitchen for food preparation and enough bathrooms for everyone! The views from the house are sublime. The house is very close to the Eilean Donan castle, and is very convenient to Skye. We also took road trips to Inverness and Ben Nevis/Fort William but be aware that driving in Scotland takes longer than you might think. Gerard was responsive and a good host.

Nice stay

Overall, the stay was great! The house was big and the host provided a lot of extra niceties. The only problem we had was inconsistent internet and wifi, but that is to be expected with a rural property. We also found the front door difficult to lock, although as Americans, we may have just not understood how the lock worked.

The property was very nice and the house was in good shape once we got there. Getting there was a little difficult as the area is very remote but we made it. The location is very close to the entrance to the Isle of Skye making it ideal.

Days in the lovely Scottish Highlands

Bunloyne is simply lovely! Nestled in the mountains with its views of Loch Long, we could not have envisioned a more perfect spot to gather with friends to savor the peace and beauty of the Scottish Highlands. The spaciousness and comfort of the house coupled with a spectacular view from each window was wonderful and prompted us to appreciate what was nearby without the need to travel far. Our hikes from the house were our favorites with their amazing views, sheep, and highland cattle. We loved hearing the stories of those who lived nearby and, meeting their well-trained and beloved dogs! Hiking on the nearby Isle of Skye and hearing the music of Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain during an evening in Portree was delightful. And on our visits to Plockton, we imagined an encounter with Hamish Macbeth. We frequently Manuelas' Wee Bakery and enjoyed the laughter and warmth of a Durney pub. Thank you, Gerard for sharing your lovely home. And to the many gracious folks who call the Scottish High lands their home, be well. We'll hope to visit once again.

Relaxing days at Loch Long

We had a lovely stay at Geds hosue Bunloyne. Contact with Ged was always very good and we always got quick responses. We have been a group of 11 persons and the house suited as well. Enogh space and equipment for all of us. We can strongly recommend the house and Ged as a host.

Wonderful family trip

Our family spent three weeks at Bunloyne in July and August. The house is beautifully designed, spacious, well-appointed, and in an extraordinary location. Looking over Loch Long was a special treat, no matter the weather. Ged was a perfect host. He responded to questions quickly and helpfully, and he gave us great advice about local restaurants. Family of 9 loved our stay!

We are a family of 9 ( 3 children ages 2, 7, 14)and 6 adults. This beautiful home fit our needs perfectly! The kitchen was generously stocked with plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans to accommodate our cooking. We noted how clean, new and luxurious our bed linens were in the house, and we all slept well in our bedrooms. The view from the house of Loch Long is outstanding and we would definitely visit again! Our stay was exceptional, and enjoyed by all in our family group!

Beautiful views but a little remote

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends and got to experience the Lochcarron Highland Games. This place was spacious and we had room to spread out and enjoy magnificent views. It was pretty remote so be prepared for a ten to fifteen drive to any pub or market. There were some plumbing issues but as there were six bathrooms, we were fine. It was well stocked with anything you could need and we appreciated getting to cook meals at home rather that eating out constantly. The small washer and dryer were helpful but if you’re from the states, be ready for each load to take 4-6 hours from start to finish. Would definitely recommend this for large groups who need a getaway from the city.
