”We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Secreto in La Fortuna! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were beautiful. ”Nice stay for one night. Room is very basic & small. Very good service at the reception. Enjoyed the pool & jacuzzis, and the small forest trail was a nice extra. Breakfast however was a joke: worst we’ve had in 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Cheapest possible ingredients and even coffee was bitter & bad (first time ever in CR :)”

”Beautiful property. Large with several different location experiences. A world class location”

”Todo muy bien! El personal muy atento. Tal vez el único comentario es que no hacen la limpieza del cuarto todos los días. Fuero de eso, la ubicación y lo demás está increíble! :)”

”This place was beautiful . Breakfast was great so much to choose from. The rooms were so clean and comfy. House keeping was very helpful.”

”If you are ok without air-conditioning, you will be beyond pleased. Beautiful surroundings and wonderful staff. Check in was very smooth. Refresh towels and drink was offered and all luggage carried to the room. Restaurant with views of Volcano and lake.........no words”

”Great place to stay. Long way up the mountain, but once you get there its a great view!! The bar closes at 8:00 pm, so if you are in the middle of a pool game, too bad!! The lights are out and you have to leave!!”

”the staft was super nice”

”El hotel espectacular, muy limpio y sus piscinas termales 100/10,los tragos en todos sus bares muy buenos al igual que el desayuno.”

”This is an amazing place to stay. The food at the restaurant is very good the service provided by each and every staff member is truly great. They really are exceptional with their customer service. The view facing the Arenal volcano is breathtaking. Will definitely recommend this place.”

”La piscina temperada un éxito”

”If you are looking for a peaceful cabin with an incredible view to the volcano, I really recommend this place. Also it’s next to an amazing restaurant where you have the breakfast included. The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere of my room was exceptional. I really recommend this hotel for future guests. It’s also in the middle of the main street in La Fortuna so everything else minutes away.”

”Everything was super lovely — we got a free upgrade to a premium suite. The staff was so nice and everything was incredible. Highly recommend.”
