”We thought we were going to be staying in the castle but ended up in the garden room. the room was nice but had a very small uncomfortable bed. this should have been explained upon booking and we could have upgraded. The staff and breakfast was excellent!”

”The rooms at No1 are always amazing: clean, comfortable, aesthetically nice, and very conveniently located. This would have been a 5*, but unfortunately we got the attic room, which involved MANY stairs up. Given my mother's age and mobility, this negatively impacted the enjoyment of our stay. If stairs matter, proactively ask about which room you are getting before you book.”

”Staff went above and beyound to help disabled guest. Even offered to move staff cars if need be for us to have a place. Barstaff was polient and effective and reception team helpful patient and effective.”

”We selected the hotel, because it has a spa. Then we found out that in order to get in the spa you need to buy a special treatments.. all over 100 pounds. We think that information is very misleading”
