”Property was very outdated, dirty room, smell, and had roaches. Room did not have nightstands nor lamps, location of the hotel is ideal for visiting family and friends of Liberty University. This can be a great hotel to stay at due to the location. Major renovations is highly and greatly needed.”

”Spent two nights because we were in the area to purchase a car. Very pleasantly surprised - the online photos didn't do justice to how lovely the hotel is. Old shoe factory and they paid homage to shoes everywhere you looked (but very tastefully done). Very clean and the staff was friendly and competent. Within walking distance to the town and other restaurants. There was a nice paved walking/biking path along the James River below the hotel - they supplied bikes and it was a beautiful ride....
”The room was new and up to date. But the cleanliness of the room was very lacking. The bed spread and blanket looked to have many spill or liquid spots on them, it was very dusty and the floor way dirty. The area outside of the room was cluttered with boxes, vaccums and a grill.”

We missed breakfast and the owner offered to make accommodations for us the next time. Lots of personal touches too. Very nice.”
