Smells and feels of mildew
Chek-in was quick and pillows were comfortable, but those are the only good things to say about this hotel. The room smelled and Felt damp and mildewy, the pool was small, as was the room. You can only turn to this hotel from the road when coming from Gulf Shores - not from the other direction. Nothing but a hospital you can walk from this hotel.

Hôtel bien situé, grande chambre fonctionnelle, spacieuse et agréable, grande penderie mais nombre d'étagères limité. SB agréable avec grande douche La chambre 309 est côté rivière et calme. On a pu débrancher la clim, qui n'est que partiellement réglable. Attention principe du cleaning on request... (ménage uniquement sur demande) pas cool ! Dans tous les cas la propreté est moyenne. Personnel très sympathique

We left somethings in our hotel room (on purpose as we just needed to leave), and they gave us a call shortly after to let us know. It was super sweet! A1 customer service <3

This is our go to hotel when staying over in Lafayette. Affordable, conveniently located, friendly staff, and an excellent complimentary breakfast. Highly recommend.

I promise you don’t let these other reviews fool you like I did. This place is absolutely disgusting and I mean filthy. We arrived after spending 5 hours on the road. The woman at the desk was very nice. That’s the only thing this place has going for them. She said they were newly renovated and you couldn’t tell at all. The smell walking in was horrible. So we get to the room and first I notice was poop stains in the toilet. Yes, the remnants of someone else’s bowel movement. Then it was trash and hair everywhere. So we had somewhere to be, got back and asked for a room change. End of our problems correct? Not even close. The next room was filthy also. They were booked so we just laid down. So then the next morning I saw a housekeeper Krystina, she is amazing by the way! I showed her the room and she said she would check with the desk and clean it. Not to mention the blood stain on the white comforter, I was mortified. Their was a urine stain i the toilet bowl which lets me know not all the housekeepers are cleaning. It was hair and trash everywhere, somebody’s sunflower seed. The smell in the house ways and first entering the rooms are horrible. Like I said before I ignored the reviews and I paid for it. We came for a basketball tournament and we stayed at a different hotel. Nobody had this issue at the holiday inn, we should’ve stayed with the team. The manager was notified via email that the front desk lady gave us. Her lack of an response lets me know all I need to know.

La chambre est très confortable. Mais pourquoi dans tous les hôtels de la Louisiane où nous sommes allés, le robinet de douche n'a qu'une seule manœuvre : du froid vers le chaud. Impossible de choisir la puissance du jet !

It was a very nice place with lots of dining options. My biggest problem was that there was not one place to hang a towel in the bathroom. We stayed 4 nights and they didn’t replenish anything. We ran out of coffee, cups, shampoo, conditioner and even toilet paper.

The first room we were placed in had a horrible odor. In fact, there was an odor eliminating machine running in the room. Went back to the front desk and the staff very kindly and quickly assigned us to another room. The staff were all very kind, from the front desk clerk to the lady manning the breakfast station.

The hotel at first was very lovely but unfortunately the sink was full of hair and i found a very large roach in the bathroom. I know bugs are sometimes part of the Louisiana experience, but it wasn't a great start to the morning.
