”Brilliant”

”My stay at the George Residence Banana Island, Ikoyi was nothing short of exceptional. ”Very clean and well-maintained boutique hotel. Spent a total of 12 nights and did not want to leave. The room smelled good, corridors smelled fresh, staff and customer service was top notch. WiFi was patchy on my first stay but it was fixed and had no issues on my second stay. The rooms are much better than in the pictures. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and secure on the property. ”It’s not the hotel you see in the pictures. It’s the quiet building to the side. I wished I had access to the big pool, but you need a shuttle. The rooftop was insane. The Friday night barbecue was ok, as some of the food just sat out. The shrimp I ate, for example was dried out and tasteless. I liked my suite as they upgraded me, but I felt I was missing the “grand resort” feel of the Eko Hotel, not Eko Suites. I would try Eko Hotel with beach/lagoon view with balcony next time.”

”Nice and clean european hotel. Service could be better at the terrace restaurant. Food is OK but not delicious. Stayed one week here. Very expensive hotel. I will not stay at the same hotel next time.”

”Maintenance needed in my room”

”I was quite impressed with the quality and maintenance of the facilities. The shower was a particular delight - the best rainfall shower i have used in a hotel for long time! Everyone from the parking lot attendant, the reception staff to the lift attendants were friendly, polite and helpful. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety and was quite tasty. I'll definitely be back.”

”Breakfast room was good but limited options of food and not a single Nigerian breakfast option provided. The pool area was large but for smokers. As a non smoker, I avoided it to not inhale smokes. Even the only closed area was reserved for smokers. The staff was cautious.”

”I stayed at the Eko Gardens, which must be their original hotel. The only issue I had was the smell of mold, not just in the room but also in the foyer. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable with lovely leather furniture. It was a good rate for the room with the pool and restaurants in the newer hotel available for use. There is a shuttle available, but only a few minute stroll will get you there, with a gift shop on the way to pick up souvenirs. I would definitely stay again!”
