”Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in.
Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10”

”Great 2 night stay in this lovely old inn. Friendly staff.
Enjoyed the full breakfast and had dinner here both nights.
Very close to the Beatrix Potter home which made visiting easy.”

”We had a great stay in the Bridge. In particular the staff and the restaurant was excellent.
Loads of parking in a very pretty place.
Typical Lakes rooms that great in a proper old coaching inn.
We would stay again.”

Room very basic ,but clean .Maybe not all rooms are the same ,we were room 3.
Nice touch with tea coffee and biscuits in room
Bathroom very good size
Bed was uncomfortable
Main issue was no sleep from noise from M6
Needs better double glazing
Lovely area to walk along canal after breakfast
