Majatalot – Lake George

”The staff was friendly. They had the wrong room for us when we went to check-in, so we had to wait another 30+ minutes to check-in. That was frustrating, but we were offered a beverage and snack for each of us. Once you get past the lobby, the space is dated, but everything was clean. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms are small, but overall the space was nice. It’s walkable to downtown and the restaurants, which was great. ”

”great place to stay but travel by motorcycle and pull a small trailer,upon arrival was told I couldn't,t park my trailer on the motel property. took an hour running around town to find a place to park it when they allowed no less than 4 more people park large trailers on the property . was a terrible inconvenience and nothing any motel I've ever visited told me I had to do. I love the place but will never stay there again.”

”This is a great location. And the place is immaculate (albeit sparse). But it is a renovated motor lodge so our (inner facing)room did not have a window in it except in the bathroom. And there is absolutely no insulation on the doors and the common space (which appears to have been a pool at one point ) was beyond noisy, starting way too early. I think for the sake of everyone’s comfort thinking about a new insulation plan would be the most obvious choice for the hotel - because there is nowhere...

”I felt this hotel was overpriced for what I got. They had to change my room because the dark window shade was broken and wouldn’t open at all. That room was dark and depressing. I didn’t understand how to raise and lower the temperature in my room. The staff member’s solution was to have me just reave it off which was not a good solution. I also didn’t understand how to turn on the fan in the bathroom. The staff says I didn’t need to turn anything on as it is on all the time and just...

”The property was beautiful and has great beach access! Also had a wonderful swimming pool and multiple areas to sit around a fire or just hang out. Plenty of grills on the property as well! The inside of the room was clean and smelled nice. The floors were dirty and I couldn’t walk around barefoot without them getting dirty. There were no tissues or napkins/paper towels of any sort the only paper product there was toilet paper. Could at least use tissues. Otherwise no complaints the staff were...
