Couldn’t have been more helpful as a host too - wish we’d stayed longer but as we were on a tour round the island we only had one night!”

”Our room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The hotel has a different layout so depending on where your room is you may have to walk a long way to get to it or cut across the courtyard if it’s not raining. A bit in the middle of nowhere but ok if you have a car. Large parking lot but you have to pay.”

”Very quaint and clean with a perfect pub attached. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A bit out of town but still a great location near a park and the river to walk. Train station in Glen Abbey is walkable. It was a bit chilly when we arrived but the room warmed up nicely”

”Attractive old house close to seafront. I had to share a bathroom, but as the house wasn't full this didn't present a problem.”

”Most things okay, but as is too often the case, the secure cycle storage requested and confirmed in the booking stage didn't exist! Really not happy leaving an irreplaceable bespoke bicycle in the cleaner's room!”

”Lovely accommodation in a pretty, quiet village. Pub closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so needed to drive or a 20 minute walk to find somewhere to eat. There is a nice village shop across the road. The pub breakfast and dinner were both good on Wednesday. Tbh it was really nice to be somewhere so quiet and peaceful and it seems many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in IOW. Would recommend, especially if you have a car. Owners helpful and easily reached on Whatsapp. Good walks nearby.”
