”We had an excellent week at the Shoreline Hideaway visiting family and exploring the south coast. Although we had a car, we took advantage of the bus that passes the property to get to Brighton for the day to avoid the traffic and parking. There is easy access to the beach via a lane just across the road and a nice walk to the Perch restaurant. The property was clean and is well equipped. "Beautiful old hotel right by the sea and close to everything. The hotel has old charm and glamour, but needs some updating. We stayed in a room that hadn't been refurbished (we were told that all rooms should be done by April 2025). Room basically had no window since it was facing the opposite wall less than one meter away. I would definetely recommend to book a room that faces sea or atleast a streetview unless it is just a place to sleep. We picked a hotel based on availability of parking but that really is not an issue. We found plenty of parking garages right in the center so if you don't mind walking 200 meters, there's no need to book a hotel with parking. "

"Very friendly service everywhere. Excellent breakfast. Older hotel w charm. I booked the smallest room for 3 day trip and as fairly big guy it was a mistake :) Shower so small that i was barely fitting myself in. But the room is ok if you just need a bed for the night. Room itself was clean and bed comfy. "
