”room was fine. staff good but house keeping let it down. never changed towels or emptied bin. didnt wash up cutlery. just a little lazy. food in bar is way too expensive so didnt eat.”

The hotel has an old period charm and sits perfectly in the Ditton Village area. I did not have an opportunity to try the breakfast, but hopefully next time I can. ”OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. The location is rather remote from the main city centre and the surroundings near the hotel are a bit dodgy, without any services nearby. On the positive side, the Strood train station is very near the hotel, so if using this station the location is very convenient.
