”The rooms get extremely hot in the hot weather they need air conditioning in the rooms”

”Far too hot to sleep in, handheld fans will not blow hot air around a room so really uncomfortable Shower water pressure was awful. You’d get a better shower in fine rain.”

It was very dog friendly but it would have been nice to have had something available in the room for my dog such as a water bowl etc but that is a minor point”

”I stayed in the hotel for a single night alone during my trip to England. The location is rather remote from the main city centre and the surroundings near the hotel are a bit dodgy, without any services nearby. On the positive side, the Strood train station is very near the hotel, so if using this station the location is very convenient. No reserved parking is available at the hotel, only regular street parking. The hotel itself is very barebones, with a tiny reception area and a very narrow...

”It situated right in the town centre. A bit chaotic. The bathroom and toilet had no lock and male and female was sharing, that was stressful having to keep an eye on the door.”

”Enjoyed the stay. Service is excellent and facilities are in excellent shape. Breakfast is high quality and plenty. Loved the atmosphere at the pub and the food. Too bad that the day is short during the winter. Didnt see the surroundings after the day at work in Sittingbourg. The only con is the soundproofing.”

”I booked this hotel for a one night stay. Then I read the reviews and wondered if I’d made a bad mistake. However, I can honestly say that we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was quiet, clean and we were treated very well. Excellent value for money. ”

”No aircon and window locks make the windows v difficult to get any air in the room. My son’s toilet didn’t work And was already ‘full’ when they arrived and as the hotel was full, they couldn’t change rooms! The breakfast buffet did not look v fresh but the pastries were good . Overall v tired hotel :(”

”Hotelli sijaitsi lähellä moottoritietä ja sinne oli helppo poiketa. Hotelli oli myös sopivan lähellä Dover'n satamamaa, josta matkamme jatkui seuravana aamuna. Hotellin vieressä oli hyvä aamiaisravintola. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hinta-laatu suhde oli ihan loistava. Voin suositella lämpöisesti muillekin matkaajille.”

”stayed here before and love the place. The room is tastefully decorated as is the house. The bed super comfortable and sheets top notch, so smooth and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts friendly and helpful as always. Cute seating area in the garden, plenty of parking and easy access to town, public transport. Will definitely stay again.”
