”Easy check in clean room I asked for a room with a plug socket next to the bed and to be fair they gave me one so it was my second stay in 3 weeks and excellent all around whenever I go back to Leicster I’m going back to best western Oadby ”

”Basic hotel but absolutely fine. Good value for money and great location. Be aware the Room 1 is over the kitchen and their air conditioner produces loud buzzing noise in the room until late. Staff sympathetic but unable to help. ”

”Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had the family suite which was amazing. Lacked coathangers but other than that it was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.”

”Absolutely awful. No housekeeping despite our requests during our entire stay. We could not even get a hold of staff as no one was at the reception or restaurant. We had to phone the hotel via the general number online and ask to be put through to the hotel chain. Extremely poor cleanliness, there were stains all over the bedsheets, chairs and a strong odour of urine in the room, carpets and bathroom. Filthy toilet, grubby bedroom and all surfaces were full of stains and spillages. The towels...

”The hotel was fine but broken reading light (reported but no action), paper ordered but then forgotten, buggy often late. On first night no information about the buggies - choice between steep steps or so called “ramp”which was a lounge winding and very steep path. With heart condition very difficult. Room in Oakham faced blank wall - should have been warned. Universally nice staff but overall a bit lackadaisical.”

”The hotel is fairly new and everything looks it. Staff were very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were both superb. My room was a good size, clean but the only downside was the bed. The mattress was too hard. I found it very uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well. The pillows too were an issue. One was not enough as they were so soft but two were too many. ”
