”Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. ”Nice bed and mattress, large room with nice furniture, and the included breakfast had a nice selection and was pretty tasty. Staff sorted early check in to let me change for a wedding, no issues. Free parking.”

”Like the name tells, George and Dragon is an inn, not a fancy shining hotel, but it is a very cosy and nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The rooms are tidy and located in a separate building apart from the pub in the backyard, so the pub activities did not disturb our good night sleeps. There's a selection of traditional English style breakfast choices available in the morning which guarantee the calories for the rest of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! ”

”The bed was super comfy and a king size. Towels were fluffy and big. Room was hot but it was the time of the heatwave and a fan was already in the room so all good. The breakfast was delicious and loads of it. The staff were also great, particularly Jimmy who showed us to our room, he served us a pint and said that if it was not up to standard, to let him know and he’d change it! All great customer service, all round from everyone at the Nags Head - well done all!”

”We saw the proprietor when we arrived at the property. He said our room was ready, although we were very early. My partner was delighted with the box of breakfast goodies. The fridge and microwave were welcome extras.. Clean linen, big room, great locality. No negative points at all.”

”The hotel is ok, we had a twin room in the cottage lodge, no 526, it was quite a walk from reception. Most of the staff were helpful and cheerful. The hotel is looking somewhat dated, the room needed a good deep clean, shower head and bath mat needed replacing, I did write this to the manger in the initial check in review, as we were only staying 1 night it wasn’t worth complaining about. The car park needs re signing as cars didn’t know which way to go round!”

”Hotelli on lähellä kaikkia kauppat. Auton pysäköinti on helppoa. Itse hotelli on rakenettu 1700 luvulla ja historiallinen. Huonemme oli iso ja mukava. Ainoa puute oli pieni jääkaapi. Palvelu toimii. Ravintola ja ruokka on hyvä ja väki kohteliatta ja mukavia. Huulen heittoa toimii. Hissi ei ole mutta laukumme oli viettu huoneseen. Suositelemme.”
