UUSI LUETTELO! Eliza Mae -mökki

Eliza Mae -mökki sijaitsee Muhlenberg Avenuella kauniilla Mt. Gretna. Useiden autojen pysäköinti kadun ulkopuolella, mukaan lukien autokatos mökin takana. Se on kävelyetäisyydellä leikkimökistä, Jigger-kaupasta, koripallo- ja tenniskentistä, leikkipaikasta ja Rails to Trails -polkuista. Mene uimaan ja rentoudu rannalla tai nurmialueella kauniilla Conewago-järvellä. Mt. ilmestyy viikoittain päivittäisiä aktiviteetteja. Gretna, saatavissa kävelykelpoisilta pysäkiltä loman aikana. Eliza Mae -mökissä on 4 ilmastoitua makuuhuonetta ja 2 koko talon fania. Täysin varustetussa keittiössä on mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone ja aamiaisbaari. Takaosassa on pesukone ja kuivausrumpu sekä pyykkinarivi. Keittiön lisäksi ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on olohuone, ruokasali, aurinkohuone ja puoli kylpyamme. Rentoudu perheen ja ystävien kanssa hämmästyttävällä kuistilla, jossa on mukavat sohvat ja keinutuolit ja ruokapöytä. Toisen kerroksen makuuhuoneissa on runsaasti kaappitilaa ja mukavat patjat. King size, queen size, double koko ja 3 kaksoset muodostavat 4 makuuhuonetta. Lemmikkieläimet ovat kiellettyjä ja tupakointi on rajoitettu vain mökin takakuistilla ja takana. Lakanat ja pyyhkeet toimitetaan samoin kuin kaikki paperituotteet. Takana on hiiligrilli sekä ihana mökki puutarha penkillä. Eliza Maessa on moderneja mukavuuksia, jotka säilyttävät mökin viehätysvoiman.

Our family had an amazing time in Mount Gretna at the Eliza Maye. The host checked in with us not only leading up to our stay but, once she learned we had never been to PA, after we got there to tell us of some local places like The Jigger Shop to check out. (The sundaes at The Jigger Shop are fabulous!). The front porch was one of our favorite spots to hang out especially when it was raining. It’s huge with tons of comfortable seating. We definitely plan to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at the Eliza Mae as always. Marianne is a gracious hostess and the cottage is always clean and comfortable. We love the front porch and spend most of our time there. I would recommend the Eliza Mae for a relaxing stay.

This year our stay at The Eliza Mae coincided with an intense heat wave. But true to the history of Mount Gretna, it was @ 8 degrees cooler there than in town. The porch fans and AC inside made it possible to still enjoy our stay. We had our traditional Ladies’ Night on the porch, as well as had several friends and relatives stop by during the week to enjoy the beauty and comfort of that spectacular front porch! Thanks Marianne for allowing us to enjoy your cottage. Can’t wait til next year… will be our 5th!

Planned a trip to Hershey for friends and family to get together. Easy 25 minute ride to the house, cottage was cute and exactly as described. Kids loved the ice cream place around the corner. Wish we stayed longer so we could have checked out the lake area nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

My family stayed here and had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect. We played games on the front porch, we ate dinner at the table together, and enjoyed walking to the jigger shop for our evening dessert. I highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again soon.

We come from around the country to meet once a year. We find the Eliza Mae a great place to wind down and enjoy each other’s company. The cottage is well stocked with bedding, and the kitchen has all you need for cooking.

This was our second time staying at the Eliza Mae. Once again, Marianne was an excellent hostess. All questions were answered promptly. The cottage was extremely clean and the fall decor was charming. The kitchen is easy to cook in and well stocked. Our favorite park is the front porch and we spent many hours there relaxing and bonding with each other. We look forward to returning to Mt Gretna next year.

We love staying at Eliza Mae Cottage in Mt Gretna. It is a quaint , well kept house with a lovely outdoors area that has fish pond in a beautiful setting of plants and flowers. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beds are very comfy and cozy. The porch is big and comfortable and a great place to sit and relax, read a book or have great conversations.

Marianne, thank you for opening your piece of heaven on earth to our family! We cannot express enough how wonderful our stay at Eliza May was this year!! We had the best time relaxing on the fantastic big porch. The evenings within this extraordinary community was like a step back through time. Between the neighbors and their amazing homes, it was magical, and we loved exploring. The house is immaculate and clean. Host Marianne has the gift of hosting. The bedding is beautiful, and the beds are so comfortable. The house was perfect to cook a meal and eat together Just far enough away from everything to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country yet close enough to drive into the city to enjoy all the amenities. This is our second year here and we would not hesitate to book this home again! I would come back again and again. Marianne was awesome to communicate with. I wish we had more time. Our family has stayed at Marianne's cottage several times and we keep going back because it is a wonderful retreat! We enjoy cooking most of our meals at the cottage because the kitchen is well equipped. Our boys enjoy the fish pond and the large, beautiful backyard for playing. Marianne has thought of everything and is a phenomenal host! Highly recommend!

Traveled with my husband, my 2 year old and 7 year old, my brother and his 4 year old, and my parents. The area is beautiful and quiet. The house is so nice and cozy. My mom and daughter loved getting up early and sitting on the porch in the quiet reading at 6am. My daughter and nephew loved the fairy garden and they would leave "gifts" for the fairies. We cleaned it up at night, and they believed the fairies accepted their gifts. It was really cute. My daughter loved the porch swing and the swing in the back. The kids loved the toys that were already in the house also. Beds were cozy. Owner was very easy to communicate with. We loved Mt. Gretna. The hide-a-way had good food and the Jiggershop had good ice cream. The lake was so much fun! I would go back just for the lake! We loved our trip and the house and look forward to possible visiting again.

The house is great and decorated beautifully. I was able to meet the owner and she is lovely. Very low key, not a lot if 'rules' [i.e. washing the sheets/towels, making the bed up yourself, etc.] The porch is wonderful and there is parking. I would highly recommend this rental.

Our family has been spending a week in Mount Gretna every year for the past 30 years. The makeup of the family has evolved as my sons grew up, got married, and had children. We have rented a variety of cottages, and have found the Eliza Mae to be the quintessential Mount Gretna cottage. We are booked again already for 2025, having spent the week there last week, the third year in the Eliza Mae. My husband, my sister, and my 90-year old mother stay for the week, and family visits throughout the week. That gives us the perfect balance of peace and fun! We not only love the porch for visiting, putting puzzles together, reading, eating, etc but find the garden in the back to be delightful too. My grandkids love to explore the garden looking for fairies under the leaves of the flowers, catching lightning bugs, and swinging on the swing. And of course going for walks and getting ice cream at the Jigger Shop is a delight.

Our family stayed but we were visited by extended family between 7 and 77 for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room and we all enjoyed the antiques and holiday decor. This is a sweet, homey location and there is attention paid to the needs of little ones. It also has a wonderfully equipped kitchen that was great for hosting. The kitchen is compact, but has everything from pie plates to platters to a dishwasher and washer and dryer as well as pantry basics. Our family cooks most meals together so the set up was just what we needed. We have stayed in vrbos from Louisiana to New York and this is one of our favorites. Many thanks to Marianne who checked on us regularly even though I always have a little trouble with Vrbo messaging. Many thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The town was like nothing I’ve ever seen only maybe in a movie or a storybook. I can’t describe in words how beautiful it was. You have to see in in person to believe it. The cottage was so beautiful and quaint. The porch was so relaxing. There was a koi pond and a magical fairy garden in front. The house had everything you could possibly need. I packed things I thought I would need to find everything there already! And the owner was so sweet! I would definitely stay here again in the future and recommend it to all my friends. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful time! We loved it!

This was our 3rd year staying at the Eliza Mae and we’l be back next year!! My sisters and I love the cottage. It feels like a 2nd home to us. The owners are the nicest people. If you’re in the area this cottage with the beautiful front porch is a must see!
