”Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships.”

”Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We didn’t use the spa due to only staying one night and the extra charge as booked through Expedia but if book direct, it’s included. Breakfast was £16.95 and worth it. Great choice. Lovely outdoor seating area. Beds comfy. Bathrooms good. Quiet location. All was good.”

”Really nice stay, staff very helpful and accomodating, we were on the top floor and the room was very warm but the whirlpool bath was an unexpected bonus. Only negative was people smoke just outside the restaurant and bar and with the windows open the smoke came im. A separate smoking area away from the hotel would be better.”

”It is about 25 mins drive to princess cruise port and a good place for one night stay. I was a bit worried about carrying suitcases upstairs. Susan relied to my question before my trip and offered assistance if needed. There are several local restaurants within 5 mins walking. My husband left one bag in Uber car. Susan helped call our driver and had the bag back on time. Breakfast on the second day was excellent. We had very good time there. I will consider to book again in future.”

”We had a great stay here. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, our room was perfectly adequate for us and our young puppy to use as a base while we explored the New Forest. We will def be back! Martyn, Sarah, Rosie and Guinness the dog”

”Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not...

”Hotelli osoittautui loistavaksi valinnaksi. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja huone todella siisti ja tilava. Kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Hotellin alakerran pubi oli rennon viihtyisä , ja hintaan kuulunut aamiainen naapurissa sijainneessa kahvila The Docksissa hyvä . Hotellin sijainti Oxford Streetillä oli todella hyvä. Suosittelen lämpimästi - ei tosin pubin yläkerrassa olevana ole lapsiperheille paras mahdollinen.”
