âWhen we first arrived, we noticed it was an older hotel. Front desk was kind, efficient and professional. Then came the room. Oh boy, old white dirty walls broken air conditioner vents, rusted and chipped front of the refrigerator, 1 of the beds looked like someone else had already been sitting on it. Called and asked for a clean room. Office staff was accommodating. Moved me to a second room. Second room had red spots (splatter) on the wall next to the sink which would have been right next...

âThe property is new and well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The bedroom was small with insufficient room for suitcases and there was only one suitcase rack. The bath was very large with much wasted space. IF the bath had a better layout the bedroom could easily have been larger and more comfortable. There was not a coffee maker or ice bucket which did not bother us, but it bothered our traveling companions in their room.â

âThe staff at the Hampton Inn was very pleasant and welcoming. Our room was very clean and the furniture was updated. There was free on site parking and a free hot breakfast was also included. They also had a gym and pool. The hotel was located near restaurants and was just a short drive to downtown Mt. Dora. Its location was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.â

âIf you are looking for just a bed and shower this is your place. My husband and I live an hour away but we were in town for the Megan Woods concert and we didn't want to drive home afterwards. Unknowingly the hotel was a mile away from the school so that was a perk! I didn't want to pay out a lot of money for a fancy hotel when I have a beautiful house so we weren't looking for amenities. The shower didn't look like it was cleaned before I used it and when I walked across the carpet in my bare...

âThereâs just something about staying in a historic Inn. The Lakeside Inn is a beautiful old property with a great pool and a beautiful view of the lake entertainment in the lounge is quite nice. The room was very comfortable as well as the bed. This is a busy Property so if you are going please book early the location for downtown Mount Dora is perfect. I have stayed many times and it is always been very clean and comfortable, and the employees are great.â

âThe view is amazing, the city superb. Nice. However, breakfast and personnel was excellent. Worth the price.
However, the building was old and hardly maintained. Old building, old AC, concrete peeling off.
