”Lovely place, perfect for two. Exceptionally clean and well placed for the town and surrounding area. Hosts were delightful and helpful.”

”Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

”Great staff, friendly and very well informed Room was great, restaurant was excellent, bar was fantastic.”

”Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend”

”lovely hotel to stay in, i keep coming back, beautiful rooms, with everything you need”

”Room was excellent. Breakfast first class, great selection & quality of food. Used Woodland Spa & ate in hotel restaurant as extras, very impressed with total experience”

”Helpful stay and clean bathroom”

”Absolutely lovely stay at The Lister Arms. Staff are amazing and the reason it's so good. They are helpful and friendly. The only very small downside is the cost. A little overpriced but otherwise beautiful. Couldn't really fault anything at all. The food was to die for.”

”Friendly staff. Great meal. Good location. Definately stay here again.”

”We stayed for two nights and while the room could best be described as adequate, the public areas are spacious, clean and well-decorated. There’s a large car park; the food’s delicious and the staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Although the room was small and a bit dingy, we’d stay again simply because the people are so nice.”

”There weren't shops or much nearby. But i think the purpose of this lodge is that you get to see the countryside and visit the 3 peaks Yorkshire as it's the closet by 27 mins drive. Plus it got a bath tub which is needed after a long hike.”

”Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was so cosy, clean & well looked after. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. Highly recommend using this host and also their property. Thanks for a great stay ”

”It was very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly Polite and helpful we couldn’t have asked for anything else and I would think we will be going there again thanking the staff great fully”

”Nice room, comfortable bed, nice kitchen which had everything you needed, quiet neighborhood, looks are deceiving as it looks run down but everyone appeared friendly”
