Bangor Cottage is a delightful little seaside hideaway, built around 1890 and now fully refurbished to offer bright, modern accommodation just a stone’s throw from the beach. All on one level, it’s a lovely option for guests with limited mobility or a young family who want everything close at hand – sand, sea air and coastal walks all within a few easy steps of the front door.

Inside, the sitting room feels cosy and relaxed, with a TV (BT YouView box), DVD player, broadband via BT Hub and a double sofa bed for occasional extra guests (guests should bring their own bedding if using this). It’s a comfortable space to curl up after a day exploring the East Neuk shoreline or nearby Fife fishing villages.

The contemporary Porcelanosa kitchen is compact but well designed, with ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and a washer/dryer, making longer stays simple and fuss-free. Sleeping arrangements include a calm master bedroom with king-sized bed and fitted wardrobes, plus a single bedroom that works well for a child, friend or solo guest. The modern bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.

Outside, an enclosed patio-style garden provides a safe, sheltered spot for children to play and for storing bikes or beach gear, with handy access from the street.
