Perinteinen Dales-mökki upealla näköalalla,

Westbrook House on rivitalomökki, joka sijaitsee rauhallisella ajomatkan päässä Newbiggin-nimisen Hamlet-alueen läpi Bishopdalessa. Kiinteistön edessä on maastopyöräily.

Vuodelta 1742 peräisin olevassa mökissä on monia perinteisiä piirteitä, mukaan lukien alkuperäiset palkit. Yläkerrassa on kaksi makuuhuonetta. Päämakuuhuoneessa on superking-kokoinen sänky, jossa on muistivaahtopatja. Ominaisuuksiin kuuluu holvattu katto paljailla palkeilla. Myös TV ja kauniit näkymät sekä edessä että takana omaisuutta.

Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on parivuode, valmistettu massiivitammeista, kaksi yöpöytää. Huoneessa on myös paljaat palkit ja kauniit näkymät kiinteistön takana.

Käytävän varrella on iso tilava kylpyhuone, jossa on kylpyamme / suihku ja iso alaosa. Siellä on myös seinälämmitin, jos tarvitaan ylimääräistä lämpöä.

Alakerrassa - on viihtyisä kolmas makuuhuone, jossa kaksinkertainen messinki sänky.

Pääaulassa on kaksi sohvaa, joihin mahtuu 5 henkilöä. Mukana on myös monipolttoaineinen liesi, joka voi polttaa sekä hiiltä että tukkeja (jotka kaikki sisältyvät hintaan). Siellä on myös suuri täyskokoinen HD 4k -televisio, Humax FREESAT -laatikko, DVD-soitin ja valikoima DVD-levyjä. Ilmainen laajakaista ja WiFi tarjotaan myös ilmaiseksi. On myös kauniit näkymät kiinteistön takana näkymät laaksoon.

Oleskelutilasta pääset läpi keittiö-ruokailutila. Ruokapöytä mahtuu kuusi henkilöä. Itse keittiö on upouusi, ja siinä on kaikki uusimmat mukavuudet. g kaksinkertainen uuni, induktioliesi, mikroaaltouuni, kaksoisleivänpaahdin jne.

Kiinteistön edessä ja takana on puutarhoja. Puutarhan etuosa on pääosin päällystetty ja siinä on kukka- ja pensaikkoputkia. Talossa on myös päärynäpuu. Se saa myös paljon aurinkoa aamulla ja varhain iltapäivällä, joten se on mukava paikka istua ja nauttia aamukauppa ja jopa keskustella ohikulkijoiden kanssa. Takapuutarha on paljon isompi, sillä siellä on paljon tilaa kävellä ja nurmikko, joka laskee kentälle. Siellä on myös metallipöytä, jossa on kuusi tuolia, jotta voit istua / syödä ja nauttia upeasta näkymästä Dalen poikki.

Wow , what a lovely cottage . When arriving the children loved looking around and finding their rooms ! Everything about it made our stay 5 days to remember! From the luxury of the bathroom , the cosy lounge to the comfortable beds . Everything was there that we needed so much so I didn’t have to take half the things I took ie towels, t-towels , coffee tea and sugar - the list goes on . You can tell we’ve not stayed in a top notch property before :-)Thankyou again Phil for keeping in touch and making sure everything was ok . We didn’t want to come home , although we are all walked out ! :-)Sharon and Simon

The perfect location for a short Yorkshire visit. The cottage had everything we needed, it was nice and warm, has comfy beds, a beautiful view, games, dvds, local info and perfect for star gazing on a clear night. Phil was great at responding to my messages and was on hand the whole time. It is remote which suited us, so be sure to pick up what you need when you're out and about. Loved it, thanks

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Westbrook House. Beautiful views, peaceful garden, and a quick walk to the village pub with friendly people and amazing food. It is in a great location to traipse around the Dales, and is very cozy and well appointed (the bathroom is amazing)...just perfect to come "home" to after a day of walking or touring. Phil is one of the most well-prepared and organized hosts we have ever encountered, providing you with lots of info and recommendations well in advance, and very responsive. We only wished we could have stayed longer, and can't recommend it enough! Thank you, Phil!!

We had the very best time staying at Westbrook House. The hosts have thought of everything you might need and the cottage was dry cosy. The views were stunning and a walk to the local pub was the icing on the cake. Be warned the food potions are very generous. We explored the area and our host did recommend the Wensleydale ice cream parlour which was worth a visit. Beautiful house in a beautiful location.

This house is set in the most beautiful countryside and the views are amazing. The house is kitted out with everything you need to prepare meals at home or a 5 min walk to the local pub. The beds were comfortable with high quality linen, a very spacious bathroom with a large bath (with a view and lots of towels). Great wifi made planning our days out a delight and allowed relaxing evenings with a movie or two Everything about our 3 week stay was just so wonderful and we definitely plan to return.

A really nice, well-appointed house with a lovely garden and great views. In a very quiet location, but only a few minutes stroll from the local pub, which serves excellent food, this house is a great place to come and relax and is also a good base for walking the dales. We loved it.

We had a wonderful five night stay in Newbiggin. Phil could not have been more helpful and accessible.Westbrook House was beautifully clean and well equipped. Beautiful and relaxing stay

The house is beautiful and well kitted out with everything you should need. The mattress in the main bedroom was very comfy and provided such a good night's sleep and being woken by bird song (although early) was lovely. The bathroom was very luxurious and the towels provided were very thick and good quality. The owner was great at communication and answered all questions promptly. We would happily rebook.

Had a lovely stay at the cottage that felt very much like home. Absolutely beautiful views from the garden. Just wish there had been a bar b q. Perfectly situated to get out and about with a great choice of castles, waterfalls and coffee shops to visit. The host is always on hand if needed. The cottage was well equipped definitely a wonderful find

Peaceful retreat

Fabulous - Quiet and Relaxing

Westbrook House was a wonderfully quiet and relaxing place to stay. With beautiful views over the dales and being serenaded by the sweet sounds of the various birdsongs, it was a quiet oasis for us to relax. The house itself was perfect. It was clean, had all of the advertised amenities and was consistent with the pictures provided in the listing. The kitchen is well equipped and has the full compliment of conveniences needed to function effectively (ie, washer and dishwasher tablets, wax paper, cling film, seasonings and oil, plenty of pots , pans and baking trays/dishes, etc, etc).The bathroom was terrific. Beautiful clawfoot bath, plenty of hot water with good pressure in the shower and a terrific set up for night lighting with sensor baseboard lighting. Communication with the owners was seamless and easy. During our visit, Phil (owner) visited the property to do some yard maintenance and was very considerate of us during that time. We were interested in the property and area and Phil was more than happy to answer our many questions. He was a pleasure to interact with and our exchanges with him enhanced our visit. The Yorkshire Dales itself was a lovely place to visit. The property is located within easy driving distance of the local attractions, restaurants and pubs and towns for sourcing supplies for cooking at home. And there were plenty of walking paths available too. Great stay. Recommend and would return if in the area again (visiting from Australia).

Cosy cottage with stunning views

This was our second visit to this lovely cottage and it won't be our last. Very cosy clean cottage with everything you need. The garden is beautiful with great views of the dales. Very handy for the street head Inn pub who does great food . Nice walks straight from the door in the surrounding hills and into west burton. Great communication with our host Phil who made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay which was very helpful. We will be back
