”Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional...
”What a beautiful place this is! Absolutely amazing scenery. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast is included and we were expecting a cold buffet. Oh no, full English or really, whatever you wanted. ”Very comfy beds led to a good nights sleep. Clean room. Big enough for a night. Room and hotel a bit dated but not overly to distract. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool, sauna and steam room where great. The changing area and lockers ideal. The showers didn't have a mat outside them so the floor was very wet and quite slippy when we stayed. ”Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds and well kept gardens with outdoor seating with tables. Rooms light and bright, large comfortable bed, bath, shower everything that you need. Decor throughout hotel was excellent with dining area for evening meal with good choice of menu. Breakfast room was light and airy with pleasant views to the gardens. Staff always seemed very pleasant and helpful, rooms cleaned and fresh towels and bed linen. An enjoyable stay.”
