”This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.”

”Good breakfast. Some of the soft furnishings in bedroom starting to look aged and a bit shabby. Cobweb on ceiling window and thick dust on curtain pelmet. One of the befs was broken on one side”

”Love staying at Hartford Hall. Clean, very comfortable & a friendly team. The rooms have everything you need & more. This is a small but very popular hotel, it’s always busy, creating a great atmosphere. ”

”We have stayed here before and it was perfect. Unfortunately this time round it wasn't. The room was cold. We put the heating on which was switched off at some point during the night. Leading to me having excruciating pain. Then there was a huge amount of noise through the night above and at the side of us. I think we were place next to staff quarters or where they do work in the hotel. Didn't sleep at all and it was frustrating. But the Spa was amazing and Anastasia was brilliant.”

”Free parking comfortable clean beds. The was sum what a bit grubby really could do with a deep clean & a spruce up. Tv signal absolutely rubbish. Ok for a base just to get your head down. Staff are polite & pleasant. Greggs next door. ”

”Food was great, breakfast included in stay with lots of choice. Also ate in pub the 2 nights we stayed and quality of food was great. Staff very friendly. Room was nice but as some other reviews stated paintwork etc needs update and refresh but very comfy bed”

”Good breakfast, for a reasonable price. Fresh fruit and yoghurt, plenty of tea and coffee and a beautifully cooked breakfast. Clean and spacious room, with a good power shower. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. ”

”Great couple of nights stay. Room was clean, beds comfortable and it was quiet. Didn’t have the breakfast but did have an evening meal in the restaurant which was nice. Would stay again and would recommend! ”

”Room was filthy, dirt on floor. Towels were dirty. No staff around to complain too. No coffee or tea in room either! Definitely not family friendly. I was staying alone and would not recommend ”

”The entire property is well maintained. By the time you walk in, you feel the cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I loved the place. Both breakfast and dinner were tasty with many options.”

”Breakfast was good overall, however would have expected to see black pudding on the hot choice and the choice of bread was poor as the brown was very dry. The coffee in the machines did not taste as a quality brand.”
