We got there and there was a note on the door saying the hotel was repossessed as and they still took payment out of my account do I’m now in the middle of trying to get money back,

Gorgeous place to stay. Very much enjoyed the tour taking us up to the roof with its terrific views. Well placed for Vindolanda, Hadrian's Wall , Hexham and Corbridge[which is worth a visit if only for Grant's Bakery on the square[ recommended by the hotel staff]

"The Chinese resturant - filthy table wear glasses had lipstick marks and food between seats the place is very unclean and unhygienic food was not too bad though but the cleanliness is extremely off putting .
