”The hotel review rating is overrated in my opinion. The hallway to our room smelled aweful. The carpet in the room was stained a lot and seemed not been vacuumed. There were dark hair on the bedding and pillow. The restroom had many dark spots between the tiles especially at the shower. Everything seemed outdated. The parking infront of the entrance was good though. The breakfast was not good at all either. Food tasted bland and bacon was cold. Nothing fresh of vegetables or fruits. ”

”We had a lovely night's stay at the Sugar Boat in their family room. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was fabulous! We'd definitely recommend to anyone, and will return next time we're in Helensburgh - thank you! ”

”Hi. Good location for the ferry. Thought id booked breakfast in with my stay to be told i had to pay for it. No paperwork on checkin so nice n easy. Really old hotel, my room was the attic, cold n wied smell. Heater provided but i couldnt work out how to use it but only there 1 night n bed fabulously comfy so very cold when out of bed. Didnt want to complain for only 1 night but im 100% sure the manager would have sorted it out, he was really nice n so were his staff. Great position to see Holy...

”Huone oli siisti. Vanha hotelli, jota oli remontoitu mutta huonosti. Vaikea säätää suihkun lämpötilaa. Kylpyhuoneen lattia rikki, sekä päällä oleva muovimatto kuten alla oleva rakenne. Ensimmäisen kerroksen baarin äänet kuuluivat keskiyöhön huoneeseen. Hyvä wi-fi. Aamupala ok, mutta ehkä vähän hintava. Sokkeloiset käytävät, paljon portaita. Henkilökunta pääosin ystävällistä.”

”Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids under 5yrs. Breakfast was very nice! The location gave us access to a lot of things around Loch Lomond (Faerie Trail was the kids favorite). Parking was convenient and the hotel is close to other restaurants. I would stay here again.”

”Wonderful amenities, beautiful property, and high quality food at The Cameron House. The spa, pool, and gym are the nicest that I’ve seen in Scotland. The food is exceptional particularly the dinners and breakfast at The Cameron Grill, and the Great Scots Bar is a wonderful setting. Rooms v well appointed as well. ”

”I've been here a number of times for work and it's my go-to place if I'm working in that area. It always feels really chilled and the restaurant is excellent with a range of Scottish and seafood dishes and delicious vegetarian options too. I'll definitely be back again. ”

”A nuisance having to collect the key from another hotel rather than the Inn that's on the doorstep. Occupants moving about in the room above were very audible and disturbing our sleep late night. There seems no sound proofing in the floor”
